Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

I got excited by the gold coins but I have one pound off a bottle of port.

At least there seems to be a bit of variety today. I go 15% off cheese.

No good as I have a voucher for our local cheese merchant where I will be buying cheese for the next while.

I got 15% off M&S collection wine today - yet again something I would never buy from M&S. Tempted to wake DH to see if he’s got money off nuts, (life-threatening allergies here, so - no thanks!) or something equally exciting, but perhaps better not 🤣

I agree that a free coffee or % off a food shop would be better than discounts off specific things that are so much cheaper elsewhere, (or that I never buy). There’s not one discount I have had that I will actually use 🙃.

To be fair, JL’s effort has been stupendously awful and is making Marks look good by comparison, (and I am pleased with my free M&S hand cream).

Agree with others. A free coffee in the café would be lovely. Id happily buy one of their delicious bacon sandwiches to go with it. I'd actually settle for them just fixing the espresso machine in my food hall so I can get my little free espressos again.

10% off nuts. My old dad likes nuts and they do some nice tubs of them - happy with that. I got a free hand cream the other day. So that's two freebies now, money off the slippers that DS has been eyeing up and money off posh nuts for my old pa.

I could probably find other things elsewhere but I'm at a pretty low ebb rn for various reasons and I'm finding it difficult to make decisions about anything. This wee app is sort of guiding me through the run up to Xmas and giving me nice stuff for myself too.

15% off cheese here too and not just any cheese M&s cheese. It's very specific in its terms and conditions that it can only be m&s cheese and that the picture is for illustration purposes only which oddly gave me a bit of a chuckle on this very soggy morning.

So I went in and got the free Apothecary (always think of Schitts Creek!) room spray (and the JL free Hendricks miniature). Apart from it taking a good ten minutes to locate it I was v impressed. Could choose which of the three scents and as a 100ml bottle it’s worth £8. I’ve regifted it 😂

20% off frozen food but I rarely get frozen from M&S as it's not usually the final stop when I'm shopping. I did enter the JL one as the phone is about £1k and I could sell that
