M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

There’s still time! Hope you get some freebies.

I'd just be happy being able to collect the free Percy pigs I won but apparently there were none in the whole store yesterday and the women got very defensive when I asked if I could have one of the alternatives.

Plants & flowers for me too - still no freebie. JL was 25% off the Snapper collection, but can only be used in JL & not Waitrose!

This is annoying. I wonder why they place that restriction on the offer (other than to limit what they give away) If the items are available to buy from Waitrose then why not allow it. I could understand if it was a concession or another outlet that they didn't own. I order my groceries from Waitrose every week. I've been adding JL products like candles and Christmas gifts for the past month or so. I spend a bloody fortune. Whereas getting to a store is a PITA especially for a disabled person like me. I might email them and see what they say.

Plants and flowers 10% off too

IGotItFromAgnes · 08/12/2023 08:43

Same 10% off plants and flowers as others.

Can’t believe some people have two free gifts while others still haven’t got one. Hopefully they’re saving something good for us

Babysharkdoodoodood · 08/12/2023 08:47

Free hand wash today

Collected my free cake slices and discounted biscuits the other day.

User136921 · 08/12/2023 08:50

I got the 10% of plants which I will use on a small poinsettia which I looked at earlier in the week but didn't buy as it will be dead by Christmas if I buy it now, I'm not very good with plants, coupon lasts 9 days so I will get it next week

imnottoofussed · 08/12/2023 08:55

Free hand cream for me today. Had a free mini Panetone earlier in the week. Otherwise just the usual 20% off stuff

wherethewildtbingsgo · 08/12/2023 08:56

10% off plants and flowers today. What a load of 💩. I've been sorely disappointed this year. Got a free tree ornament on day 1 and then nothing but money off.

LadyEloise1 · 08/12/2023 09:01

10% off flowers and plants.
I rarely buy flowers in M&S now as their flower bouquets are very expensive here in Ireland.

Another person with 2 freebies. I can continue hoping then that the easy peelers aren't it for me.

Gingernaut · 08/12/2023 09:26

10% off flowers and plants

I never buy flowers or plants

OneFrenchEgg · 08/12/2023 09:34

I don't know what would be better tbh, just thinking why I'm so disappointed!

Maybe a free hot chocolate in the cafe, a bogof on Christmas treats, a bag of satsumas, 10% off a shop over £50 - I don't know

Squirre · 08/12/2023 09:43

Free bag of Percy Pigs 🎉🎉🎉

YourNameGoesHere · 08/12/2023 09:47

Fingers crossed your store has some in stock.

I agree with you OneFrenchEgg I think the random % off stuff that's likely still more expensive than elsewhere makes it feel less exciting than the ideas you suggested. Stuff like a free hot drink or BOGOF deals would actually make it feel like you were getting treats.

catwithflowers · 08/12/2023 10:11

Another one with my second freebie today 🙈. I also had the Christmas cake slices (yummy) and today got a free liquid hand soap. I do have an M&S credit card so wonder if this is figured into their algorithm or whether I've just been lucky.

Don't think so because I've got one too!

YoullCatchYourDeathInTheFog · 08/12/2023 10:37

Free hand cream (I really like their hand cream, so that's a win) to follow on from the Buck's Fizz which I got earlier and will probably regift.

YoullCatchYourDeathInTheFog · 08/12/2023 10:40

I was disappointed that there wasn't an alcohol free option on the Buck's Fizz - I'd have been very happy with a sparkling elderflower or whatever (even happier with a bottle of their fizzy tea thing, but that's twice the price so not a realistic ask).

ifIwerenotanandroid · 08/12/2023 12:01

Arteza's 12 days offer (today only) is 30% off watercolour equipment. I've had their woodless watercolour pencils & they're good - like the discontinued Derwent Aquatone ones.

Sign up to their emails to get the offer.

Doubleraspberry · 08/12/2023 13:11

I am heading in this afternoon and will get a poinsettia and hopefully claim my room fragrance. Possibly also get a biscuit selection although they have palm oil in most of their biscuits and chocolate so not sure they'll have one I would buy.

ChannelLightVessel · 08/12/2023 16:06

Got a free hand cream today, which was good timing as I was planning on going today anyway. Also got discount on box of biscuits for DD’s Latin teacher, for coping with DD on school trip.

Crazydogmumma · 09/12/2023 00:05

Nuts anyone?

OneFrenchEgg · 09/12/2023 00:07

Yay gold coins

Talisin · 09/12/2023 00:11

A whole £1 off an M&S Port Decanter.

AllisColm · 09/12/2023 00:12

I got excited by the gold coins but I have one pound off a bottle of port.
