M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

Here we go. I'll show you mine, you show me yours!!

20% off Christmas jumpers for me too. (It's Christmas jumper day at school today here, but I couldn't shoehorn DD into one anyway)

Free bear at JL. I almost called in Bainbridge there - blast from the past for anyone from the NE of England.

Yep, Christmas Jumpers & a free Bear. Not impressed so far & still no freebie for me either.

AntiquePancakes · 07/12/2023 07:39

12 days of disappointment it should be called!
All I've had free is a tub of mini cakes, every other day has been 15%/20% off random items. Today 20% off Xmas jumpers😒

OneFrenchEgg · 07/12/2023 07:43

Christmas jumpers 😴
No freebies just discounts so far

OchonAgusOchonOh · 07/12/2023 08:32

Christmas jumper discount today. No thanks.

LadyEloise1 · 07/12/2023 09:00

Christmas jumper discount.
No thank you.

hby9628 · 07/12/2023 09:14

Christmas jumper discount here too. I've had a discount every day except for Tuesday when I got the room spray. Never legged it to M&S so quick! I'd love one of the perfumes.

catwithflowers · 07/12/2023 09:40

Come on moaning Minnies! Where's your Christmas spirit? They are a business after all!

Maybe I'm lucky as I got some Christmas cake slices free which were £4.50 I think, 20% off pyjamas and 20% off biscuits, both of which I would have bought anyway. So I reckon I'm about £11 up so far 😂😂😂. Sadly I'd already bought my dad's sweater as that came up as an offer today too and I CBA to return it and reorder with the voucher.

Hope everyone gets a freebie soon 🎄

You could sign up with Badger Beer for the chance to win a free Christmas jumper.

Apart from the free Christmas slices (which were very nice, can’t complain) I have only had x% off cards, underwear etc. I want gin!!

PinkArt · 07/12/2023 14:23

Success, I managed to get my free Colin Bits today!

Did you find them on a shelf or were they behind a till? Just working out of I'll try tomorrow.
Thanks

I don't think there will be gin this year. I've had a look at the photo, and it only shows Wine / Prosecco.

Five days left.. tomorrow morning would be nice timing for a freebie for me as I'm popping in tomorrow.

Fingers crossed and good luck to all for the remaining 5 days!

I've just had discounts so far but none I want to use. The M and S freebie God's aren't in my favour this year 😅

popandchoc · 07/12/2023 16:02

Hoping for mine tomorrow too as need to pick something up from there.

SecretVictoria · 07/12/2023 17:31

Absolute crap. I got free mince pies on day 2, can’t bloody stand them. DH was happy though. Other than that just random 20% discounts on stuff I wouldn’t buy anyway.

Got the bear from JL but by the time I opened the door, it was already out of stock 🙁.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 07/12/2023 18:32

20% off Christmas jumpers here .
I have my jumoers and I'm sort of tempted by one of the fairisle beigey ,etallic ones but I'd need to see it IRL.

Yogaandchocolate · 07/12/2023 19:05

Finally was in the city today so picked up my free diffuser. There were none left on the shelves, but when I asked they had some behind the till. Very happy!

PinkArt · 07/12/2023 22:04

@Worriedmum42 In the Tottenham Court Road store they were on a shelf near other Christmas sweet treats - things like the light up biscuit tins. Good luck!

Just wondering how some people got a free JL bear and others got a free JL bear with an online purchase? 👀 #askingforafriend - but guess which group I fell in??!

Oh that's interesting I had no idea there were two categories. I was very annoyed to get the one which required an online spend this morning given I've actually set foot in one of their stores today.

Also alarming news but I couldn't redeem my Percy pigs as there were none in the whole store today!

MeinKraft · 07/12/2023 22:45

20% off Christmas jumpers.

They set the bar too high with the gin on day 1 last year and it's just been disappointment ever since Grin

Dee1224 · 07/12/2023 22:57

I was annoyed that the bear with purchase at JL was app only - there were a couple of small items I needed that I could have gone to JL for, but I refused to pay a £2.50 click and collect charge for cheap stuff.

Re: Xmas jumpers - I have at least two weeks worth already, (I have a bit of a Xmas jumper fetish), and am banned from bringing more into the house!

On another note: Having spent so much in Lidl since I discovered its delights for the first time last week, I qualified for a free loaf of bread, so I went and got that instead!
