Anyone fancy a Sparks 12 Days of Christmas thread?

I'm waiting up till midnight to see what my first offering is. There are the usual suspects on the advertising image (percy pigs, looks like a hand cream, wine etc) There are some canny prizes up for grabs by the looks of things, but there are sure to be some duds as well!

I'm hoping that unlike last year when it was a big start they are heading for a big finish!

Ah yes, I have just realised that no one on here has won a ‘big’ M&S prize yet. I do know someone who got the gin last year, so the odds last year must have been reasonable for a good win. Maybe, just maybe, there might be a nice surprise further down the line for a few of us🤞

Meanwhile, I am taking a masochistic pleasure in the hilarious uselessness of JL’s effort! The one day only to make a huge purchase like a sofa bed is still tickling me and DH!

Boots also very glitchy. Got 20% off premium plus an entry into a draw for 2 Electric Picnic tickets. I would be a popular mother if I produced them. Although I have 3 dc so it would be a bit of a Solomon moment.

Slippers here too. DP mentioned wanting slippers yesterday, so he might use it. During this 'mention' though, there was an impressive list of features these slippers had to have. So M&S might have its work cut out😆

I have 20% off headphones today. These particular headphones are £200-500. Not a purchase I’m likely to make on impulse! One day isn’t enough to consider the purchase and consult the recipient. Especially when it’s a work day and we’re all out till 7pm!

It’s also totally pointless. The headphones are available at 20% discount everywhere. So how is this a “special one-day advent discount from JL” when I can go to Argos and buy them for the exact same price without the time restriction?

I had seen gorgeous soft slippers in M&S but couldn't justify another pair. Now with 20% off .......

They are £17.50 in the UK.
Which is €20.34 with today's exchange rate.
But are sold in Ireland in M&S for €25.
Transport costs etc.

JL have probably just thrown together something at the last minute because other shops are doing it, I couldn't open theJL door this morning but haven't missed much then

Day 1 - Apothecary diffuser - redeemed
Day 2 - 30% off Christmas homeware and decs
Day 3 - 20% off pyjamas - picked up two pairs, although didn't get the 10% off clothing
Day 4 - 20% off biscuits - I forgot to pick up some of these this morning
Day 5 - 20% off slippers - bought my husband some lovely slippers this morning

Will use the biscuit offer and have a look at the Christmas homeware bits on Thursday, loving this advent so far 🙂can't wait for tomorrow.

I’ve only been offered 15% off the Bose headphones by JL! Not that I’ll be buying them, but it’s the thought that doesn’t count for me 🙃
