I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we couldn't just bought a smart tv by now with the amount we've got through as they break after a year or so) and noise cancelling headphones for DD. Hope you're all getting through the lists - December is fast upon us!

I’m sure 2-3 years ago the Green and Blacks used to go on a Tesco offer for £4 reduced from £10. Now it’s a bargain at £7. Shows how much things have gone up!

Ordered my Laithwaites minis while a bit drunk on Saturday evening and they've just arrived! Should be lovely, certainly the Cabalie is one we've had before so if anyone is planning to use as stocking fillers save that for a very special recipient!

I don't know why I've dicked around to be honest, it was inevitable I'd get it. God I'm so weak.

Just been real life shopping and managed to get a lot sorted but still need some jogging bottoms for dd2 (17), has anyone seen any black skinny fit joggers, ideally branded? I found one pair on ASOS but unsure if any codes are still working for ASOS?

Also dd1 mentioned a light show/projector thing that she wanted from flying tiger. Anyone know what it might be as I can’t find it on flying tiger website?

@christmaspudding43 i like the brand “Nip & Fab” - they do a teen skin range with cool packaging and always have good discounts, offers etc online. Their vitamin c range is also very good.

Ahh i caved and bought a look fantastic box. In my Christmas head it is for DM but I suspect it may end up on my shelf!!!

@Lovemusic82 I bought one for DS from Temu. First time I've bought from there and got sucked in to buying all sorts of crap because of the bargain prices, most of which is going back! The projector is brilliant though! Really impressed. They seem to have lots of options on what the projection is - I got an undulating, watery pattern.

Worth checking Lidl plus apps and similar before shopping. On mine I have 10% off heated throws and under partner offers there's 25% off a Toniebox bundle which may help some who are looking.

Does anyone know if there's Advent Calendars that are sweets too? Got DS1 & 3 the usual chocolate ones they like, but DS2 is a sweets boy (well, 17, but never too old for an advent calendar!).

Off to B&M tomorrow to pick those up, so they might have Advent Calendars too

@OneHornedFlyingPurplePeopleEater if you get the velvetiser from Hotel Chocolat it comes with two 'podcups' so no need to buy an additional mug if you don't want to. It looks like you can get the velvetiser set for £49.95 if you take out a hot chocolate subscription (a monthly delivery of hot choc which has free delivery). I think this is a bit of a bargain! I'd absolutely recommend the hotel chocolat hot chocolate and you might want to get a selection box of the different ones to try. I drink a lot of hot chocolate (see username...!)

DH normally supports DS at his football matches, and having stood freezing my bits off in his place in Sunday I wondered about getting DH some heated socks. Have seen them on Amazon but any recommendations?
