That's great thank you, I'll get it for my 9 year old.

Just wondering what this was about please? Tried to scan old posts but couldn't find what this related to and wonder if it would be good for my girl.

slipperypenguin · 24/11/2023 14:27

has anyone seen any good deals or ways to bring the price down on magnatiles?

NotMeekNotObedient · 24/11/2023 14:28

Yes they are fab! Often a few new ones about on vinted as they are a popular gift. I got 2!

wutheringkites · 24/11/2023 14:28

@Yojjy

I'd go for books. Peepo! and Each Peach, Pear, Plum make nice gifts.

What was the Papier offer please?

Use code FIRSTDIBS which got I think 25% off then a referral code on top for an additional £10 off. Here's my code -

Am also buying for newborn babies!
Any discount code for the Tuppence and Crumble star blankets?
I’ve actually not bought these before, are they recommended by you lovely lot??

They’re brilliant, can definitely recommend! Do they have to be new though? I’ve bought them from Vinted/marketplace and given as gifts, they wash beautifully.

GettingOldWithoutStyle · 24/11/2023 14:43

The rocket that was posted a little while ago, says it's 6+ do you think it's too grown up for a 4yo birthday? I think it looks fab but wondering if it's too complicated Rocket

RE: Very- I only want the account to buy a switch, is it easy to pay it off and close the account? All makes me very nervous but its by far the cheapest

I used the Very Pay offer to buy a new fridge - we had the money but I wanted the discount. Did it wrong the first time as I didn't see where to put in the welcome code (iirc it involved scrolling alllllll the way down the page...? Not certain) but I managed to cancel that and reorder using the code.

I paid it off as soon as fridge arrived, by logging into my Very Pay page with no issue. Still haven't actually closed the thing down, though, as I believe it involves actually requesting the closure from an assistant and I just haven't gotten round to that.

Re papier - I could get the 25% to stack with the £10 off. Still bought a diary for myself with £10 off though

nicky2512 · 24/11/2023 14:57

Bit of a long shot here but I bought ds, dd and d dog matching Chelsea peers Christmas pjs for a bit of fun.
The red and green Christmas penguin fair isle. I stupidly went by recommended breed of dog rather than length and ddogs are too small! I need a medium to complete the set.
They seem to be out of stock everywhere. If anyone sees them please let me know. I don’t want return the others as they are lovely so I’ll have to squeeze him into them!
Thank you.

Irritatedmum · 24/11/2023 15:10

DD9 has asked for something like this - has anyone bought anything like this they’d recommend? The reviews I’ve seen online are hit and miss.

Does anyone have an Argos code for £200 spend? Xx

IDugAnotherHole · 24/11/2023 15:19

@Realfastfoodie thanks for the suggestion. I'll the one I'm after isn't there but I'll see what else they have. We have bad luck with coffee machines so not sure about buying refurbished but if they have decent warranties etc I suppose it's no different to brand new (I.e we'll have broken it in 3 months)...
