How do you get the 20% off at JDSports with Klarna to work? I’ve got a pair of Adidas trainers to buy that seem to be exempt from all discounts everywhere and I can’t bring myself to pay full price so would be great if it works.

Would you let me know if you find out please!

Cornishqween · 24/11/2023 12:58

@frecklejuice my dd got it for her 8th bday and adored it, has made so much with it and she's not a kid who sits still for long. Equally my 11 year old old niece had a ball playing with it too so I've got her one for Xmas. I'd say it's quite universal

That's great thank you, I'll get it for my 9 year old.

LeMieux riding socks are always a hit with my girls, loads of colours. They also do a riding headband which is popular.

Stripedfluffysocks · 24/11/2023 13:26

Am also buying for newborn babies!
Any discount code for the Tuppence and Crumble star blankets?
I’ve actually not bought these before, are they recommended by you lovely lot??

nimski · 24/11/2023 13:27

Sorry that was for @Cornishqween

BuyStuff · 24/11/2023 13:28

@fishfingersandchipsagain All I remember is that the place to put the code was on the right hand side of the screen in a separate banner. But that doesn’t help much. I did one order when again in the right hand side I chose to buy in full at the time of the order. And dh did one where he paid later. Both worked

I'm after recommendations please! DS (7) has got a robot dog on his list to Santa. I know this will not be played with, but it's been mentioned many many times so I need to tick the box for him somehow!!

Any recommendations for robot dogs (non fluffy sort) that are as cheap as chips would be hugely appreciated please!

@sycamorescrumptious try B&M, we had the same request last year, they had a small robotic dog for about £8. It was pretty decent for the price!

redjoker · 24/11/2023 13:36

RE: Very- I only want the account to buy a switch, is it easy to pay it off and close the account? All makes me very nervous but its by far the cheapest

msssm · 24/11/2023 13:38

OnBuy have exploding kittens game for £6.66 with free delivery.

www.onbuy.com/gb/p/original-edition-by-exploding-kittens-card-games-for-adults-teens-and-kids-fun-family-games-a-russian-roulette-card-game-multicolor~p79723234/?sr=exploding+kittens

Much better than the £14.69 on Amazon.

Anyone know if they can be trusted? I've never used them before.

stillholly · 24/11/2023 13:39

Hello

Struggling to keep up with the threads!

Are there any hooded blankets - Oodie style for teenagers or small men's under £15 please?

stillholly · 24/11/2023 13:41

MamaK19 · 24/11/2023 11:29

Bit niche but I am looking at booking a Safari lodge experience and West Midlands safari park as a gift for DW only one night but the price makes me want to cry, only code I can find is BL but that doesn’t apply to lodges, a may just have to suck it up and pay full price but if anyone does know a discount code I would be incredibly grateful 🦁🙏🙏

Ooh this sounds fab - did you manage to find anything?

Member212711 · 24/11/2023 13:43

@sycamorescrumptious would something like this dog lamp be enough? https://www.amazon.co.uk/URAQT-Adjustable-Portable-Eye-Protection-Christmas/dp/B0BMFV7GCW/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3J81GTT3R7HSA&keywords=dog%2Blamp&qid=1700833353&sprefix=dog%2Blamp%2Caps%2C71&sr=8-6&th=1 there are lots of different colours, and the parts do (sort of) move....

I've not seen a discount I'm afraid, their own website is the cheapest place to buy from. NOTHS & Amazon also sell them though!
I've bought a few as new baby gifts as well as for my own daughter and they are always well received as novel and useful!

Nooo 😭 I think I am just going to have to pay full price been searching for a while now and worried the dates I want will disappear if I don’t book 🫣 I will come back and update if I do though!!

BippityBobbityBoo · 24/11/2023 13:57

What was the Papier offer please?

FiveGoldDoughnutRings · 24/11/2023 13:58

@Cornishqween i think if you’re spending £70 you are best asking what they would like. Horses kit is expensive so it’s likely there will be something they have on a wish list but it’s too much to spend on socks etc.

ExpressYourElf · 24/11/2023 14:05

I have just ordered this mini projector, it has good reviews and is on a lightning deal, cost just over £40 which I think is a good bargain

Thread 12 - the one where we're hoping for mega Hotel Chocolat bargains

Yojjy · 24/11/2023 11:29

Not a bargain but I wondered if anyone had any suggestions. A good friend had a baby at the beginning of the month and I’d like to get the baby a little Christmas gift, but she’ll only be about a month and a half. I’m sure she’ll get lots of “baby’s first Christmas” things from family.

I don’t have children myself and she’s the first close friend to have a baby so I’m a bit clueless about what is an appropriate gift. I wondered about getting a book, but do I go for a baby book or something a bit older she can keep? The Usborne illustrated fairy tales book someone recommended for another poster above is lovely, but is it silly to buy something like that for a tiny newborn baby? Or any other non-book suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Edited

I think you can never go wrong with a Hairy Maclary compedium or the Jolly Christmas postman- it will be too old for her now but lovely for later years.

Working my way through the posts so apologies if this has already been suggested.
what about a collection of books? Ranging from things like dear zoo, that postman one with the letter (the proper title escapes me!), super word, gruffalo, ranging up to jungle book and just so stories.

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 24/11/2023 14:13

Dunelm have some of their oversized fleece hoodies on offer for £10. Not as thick as oodies but the ones that get worn most in our house are the dunelm ones

Ahhh just come back from the boden sale at kempton park.
I feel sick how much I spent. Can’t even say it was a bargain as I wouldn’t have bought any of it normally as Bodens well out my price range normally.

@msssm onbuy is like buying from eBay- it's different sellers under one platform.
I was warned off buying games on there by experienced boardgames people who said the cheap boardgames were knockoffs.
(obviously YMMV)
