I’m looking for a digital camera for a tween girl, ideally £40ish range… does anyone have any suggestions/seen any amazing deals? Thanks in advance x

Qwerty21 · 23/11/2023 22:03

Anyone know somewhere selling jellycats with a good discount at all please?

Cheesypumpkin · 23/11/2023 22:04

I've just got some great bits in the notonthehighstreet sale, I like buying bits from small businesses.
I got this for my SIL as a little early gift from her baby

Anyone know the best place to buy the instax camera film from. By best I mean cheapest obviously!

Beckafett · 23/11/2023 22:10

Thank you so much for the mini wines; I'm looking for anything else similar for presents for my amazing work team who have gone above and beyond but I'm on a budget.

chickenmashandgravy · 23/11/2023 22:11

Was there a deal on the Tartan Weaving Mill? I remember someone mentioned it a couple of threads ago.

TheCrow · 23/11/2023 22:25

For people looking for bubble tea kits, both of the Asian supermarkets I went in at the weekend had these small pots of the 'pearls' for around £1.50 each in loads of flavours.

Argh I bought the butter from argos for £31 as part of an order with the £7 off £75 voucher. Just seen theyv put the price down to £25.

I can't cancel and re use the code but really annoyed.

If I return and rebut the item does anyone know if there will be an issue as I used the code?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/11/2023 22:29

I finally got the air ups after all the recommendations.

Today I picked up a basketball hoop for the bedroom with a soft ball for DS7 in Aldi. It was only £12.99. I saw one on an instagram page ages ago and thought it would be great for his new bedroom. The cheapest I've seen elsewhere have been £25.

DS has asked for "builder road signs" for his toy cars 😅 any ideas?

Try train model sets. Search for builder sets 0 gauge like this may work.

Not quite builder signs but he might like something like this: Road Tape for Toy Cars, 5pcs Trains Railways Road Tape, Washi Masking Tape Sticker, DIY Traffic Sign, Durable Paper Tape Road Stickers for Roll Toy Cars https://amzn.eu/d/fReMBsf

Can anyone point me in the direction of an Argos code? Have finally relented on a coffee machine for DH (in the absence of any other ideas) but really need something to take the sting out of the £350 outlay. Jolly well hope he gets me a cracking gift!

slipperypenguin · 23/11/2023 22:39

Thank you @Memo88 & @BellaTheDarkOverlord both great ideas for the road signs

chillimice · 23/11/2023 22:40

@Mytribeof3 I don't think it means anything extra - I've used vouchers before and they seem to be genuinely just a discount!

@PurpleSkittle you can def charge anything that uses a USB or USBC. But I did fall down a rabbit hole of power banks and found this one for £20 that is much more powerful and charges loads of things of once!

frecklejuice · 23/11/2023 22:43

Also wondering where the Argos codes are coming from!!

I’m not looking for a deal but hoping someone can help with a recommendation 🙏🏼 I’d like to get DS a traditional fairy tale book suitable for me to read to him with a few pictures (Little Red Riding Hood, Gingerbread Man etc), has anyone got one that they would recommend?

Usborne illustrated fairy tales has delighted all my kids - lovely colour illustrations and well written. It’s on world of books for £4.40.

HulahoopsBBQbeef · 23/11/2023 22:49

@chickenmashandgravy the tartan weaving mill have an extra 20 percent off their sale items with code PREBLF and I have a code for ten percent off full price pieces WELCOME10. They had lovely silver earrings and scarves in the same last time I looked

TheCrow · 23/11/2023 22:53

@slipperypenguin there's road signs on shein and temu, or ebay if you don't want to use those sites

Was RL shopping today in TKMaxx. They never fail to impress:

Gorgeous festive soaps (stunning packaging)/ Neom oils/ great men's toiletries/ excellent branded underwear/ Totes slippers/ Body Shop stuff far cheaper than from them/ unusual socks (Keith Haring & Ed Hardy - teen likes)/ loads & loads of stunning candles/ gift sets of all kinds. All really good prices.

Borris · 23/11/2023 23:13

Does anyone know if I don't pick up a JL click and collect whether I get the delivery charge refunded?

Annoyingly I ordered some half price crackers to be delivered to our local Waitrose. Then I've seen on here that the very same crackers are in Waitrose reduced anyway. Obviously when I tried to cancel the order it's already being processed but "if I don't want it anymore then just don't collect it".

I know this ain’t quite what you asked… but I cannot recommend DeLonghi refurbished highly enough. Their bean to cup machines are such a bargain on their eBay shop. Anyone who likes coffee, this is a fabulous present with a range of options to suit different budgets.

Apologies if it’s been mentioned already - Furn have some really great discounts. I’m signed up to their emails and got sent a further 50% off single use code, which worked on sale items too, so worth checking your inbox if you’re signed up. Got some lovely throws, bath towels, and bedding.
