@theclimbingsloth The exclusive sets are really hard to find discounts on. John Lewis had a lot of reductions a few weeks ago and then put the prices back to RRP. Perhaps in prep for Black Friday reductions?

Lego have a members club called Lego insiders. Free to join and you earn points with every purchase and they have member prices on some sets (£20 off the Winnie the Pooh house etc).

Lego Black Friday sale starts at midnight so might be worth a browse.

Also if you’re on Topcashback you can get at least 2% on purchases from both shops (If you’d like a referral PM me).

If there’s a particular set you’re looking for, keep an eye on HotUKDeals as most of the Lego deals I’ve seen have appeared on there pretty quickly.

I know a few people are having no luck with Laithwaites but does anyone have the link to the four bottles? I cannot for the life of me find it on the website, maybe it's finished.

@Muddyandwet thanks for that! It probably wasn’t ever £50, but even half price in Tesco the wash bag is £8 and the toiletries set £14 so a 50% saving. Perfect for my tricky buys!

Thanks for the Scouts heads-up. I would never have thought to look there. 2 t-shirts, a hoodie, a very posh fleece and two s’mores kits, for about £75 all-in. It would have been £50 just for the s’mores!

I did get very over excited initially when I didn’t realise I had wondered out of the outlet section, filled my basket with all kinds of things, and then got confused at the discount applied.

Very happy with what I got though!

For anyone wanting to make their own Knock-Off S'mores... Not fancy but kids love it, we buy similar to these out of Aldi. Can't for the life of me find them on the site though! Just generic, big chocolate sandwich biscuits(?!) From memory, you can just twist/pull them and one side comes away from the Chocolate part, stick a marshmallow in, put the biscuit side back on and pop into the microwave for a short burst.

Try one yourself first though so you can judge how hot it is before handing it to the little ones!

Gosh I've missed so much. Like about 8 threads I think. I just can't keep up, life is so hectic and chaotic, feeling a bit overwhelmed with trying to just keep on top of life with 2 small children, full time job, ineffective useless DH and life admin.

Think I'm pretty much done Christmas presents shopping now. Just an awful lot of wrapping to do which will take me a few days I think.
