Thanks @GoatsareGOAT for the title. Luckily, she was referring to the board game peeps!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

DD fell in love with a Jellycat espresso cup today at a garden centre. I'd like to get it for her or for a family member to give to her. It was £14.99 at the garden centre. I can find it online for under £13 but only with £££ delivery. Any ideas please before I head back to the garden centre? It is super cute. Thanks.

It’s worth looking on Vinted or eBay, although with fees and postage it can soon add up to the same price.

@NNat

  1. Paste or enter the code at the payment stage.

Sorry, just looked. There is one without tags going cheap on eBay (bidding finishes in 2 days). All the rest are a lot more than what you have seen it for, sadly.

ThunderousR · 18/11/2023 19:55

@lotsofthingstolearn
Company is based in China so won't be the quickest shipping, but has good prices & is legit.

YuXin is very much one of the "big brands" for speed cubing, though there are other ones on there if you want to have a look around.

@mummymummymummummum my local Co-op had quite a lot of the proper Elf on the Shelf's the other day... My 6 year old pointed them out and I've still told her "no chance" 🤣🤣

sepsisandAKI · 18/11/2023 13:39

@Mytribeof3 I bought my daughter one for uni from Temu. She had to set it all up but looks good I think!

Thank you, I'll take a look!

ThunderousR · 18/11/2023 20:12

Anyone know where I can get a pair of large-ish, simple Christmas stockings that won't break the bank? Don't want them to be personalised & they're for adults so nothing childish! Everything I've found has been either too small, too childish or too expensive. Thank you!

yoshiblue · 18/11/2023 20:19

£3 at Hobbycraft, you could always embellish them further yourself?

Or IKEA have some red/white ones for £5

My god these threads move quick!! I was on the ball till thread 7 and then it all went to pot 😂

Has anyone ordered off the tea shed for their bubble tea sets? Wanting a small wrap up for DN10 to go with her voucher (apparently toys are so last year and River Island is the in thing) 😂

If you go irl shopping b n m have bubbleology sets for £2.30 each if that helps

Flamango · 18/11/2023 20:24

I have been keeping an eye on Dre Beats headphones for a while - they’ve been £180 for aaaages but just dropped down now to £110 on Amazon if it’s helpful to anyone!

ThunderousR · 18/11/2023 20:27

@yoshiblue
Thank you they look perfect!

TheBigFish · 18/11/2023 20:30

Thanks @HeartandSeoul. Yes I looked on Vinted, so expensive!

mummymummymummummum · 18/11/2023 20:34

Thanks everyone for the elf advice. I (well, my kids) spotted some in Tesco (not my usual haunt). They were the same brand as the Works ones and also £3. I let them look for a bit, and declared which they liked. I then snuck back leaving the kids arguing over scanning a pint of milk and nabbed one.

Fully aware of what I’m getting into. I have an exit plan already 🤣 Think I’m just feeling guilty that I didn’t manage to maintain the Santa story with 7 year old when she randomly questioned it in August!

Dibor have some lovely ones in their Black Friday sale

jamrolypolyandcustard · 18/11/2023 20:45

@Qwerty21 oh perfect! Thank you! I'll have a look in, we've just had a huge one open down the road and I needed an excuse for a visit!

Beingacatbed · 18/11/2023 20:48

BuyStuff · 18/11/2023 20:53

I’ve managed to get Neom bargains every year thanks to posts on here. Although there are 20% off deals places (and thanks to an pp about the Amazon Subscribe deal) and a free diffuser if you spend £70 on their own site, if anyone sees anything better I’d be grateful!

fishfingersandchipsagain · 18/11/2023 20:55

Chocolateteabag · 18/11/2023 16:54

@fishfingersandchipsagain - I've pm'd you a 20% code which should hopefully stack?

Use it first, then Jewels, then birthday codes and finally try BF30?

Thank you - that is very lovely of you 😊but I checked out a basket earlier in the week. I was just trying to figure out the best combo of codes in case it helped someone else.

Someone else might like the 20% code though?

redjoker · 18/11/2023 20:57

Lots of discounts at smiggle for some nice stocking fillers.

Shane about their annoying delivery fees 😑

ZzzzCravingMum · 18/11/2023 20:58

@psuedocream3 , I got mine on Temu…really liked it so just got my nephew for his Christmas. His was £13 with a random pod, the pods are between £1.70 and £3 depending on the seller. Only think I’m not sure on yet is how long the pods last for.

Wishingiwastracytutor · 18/11/2023 21:12

Has anyone got a voucher for money off at Argos please ? I’m about to spend £75
thanks in advance
