I love the fact that the nn of the person who said this to me is @chocolateisavegetable - very apt!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I got very excited about this, but on checking the small print, it seems the free book is only when you subscribe for 12 months @ £35. Very naughty the way they have advertised it.

Oh no! That’s a shame - and very misleading!

DisingenuousBatshittery · 16/11/2023 15:42

A long time ago in a bargain thread far far away, we all bought stuff from Tokyo Laundry and Saltrock - DH has worn his to death and needs a replacement for his borg lined hoody. Any bargains around?

HotDiamonds codes seem to stack like last years.

So not only do MSE40 and JEWELS stack to give 40% off (including outlet) and free delivery.

But also if you are signed in and leave something in your basket for a couple of days, they send an account specific code for a further 20% off which stacks.

It also looks like the code BIRTHDAY is still active. When I try it on my account it says I have already used it, rather than it not being valid (which is correct, I used it last year). IIRC last year this gave a straight money off (I think £15?) which effectively made a small order free.

PlanBea · 16/11/2023 15:43

@LazyDaisy22 @RainbowZebraWarrior ah no, I wish I'd read closer. Still, getting paid 80p to read 6 magazines for free isn't bad haha

Vetoncall · 16/11/2023 16:02

I have an O2 £1 personalised decoration code but I accidentally hit use now rather than save so it needs to be used in the next hour and a half. I'll just post it here if someone wants to grab it and use before about 5.20pm!

Vans have 35% off spends over £90, but it's only on selected items. Saying that, there are about 2000 items in the offer! Click through from the offer banner on the home page. Also, 3.75% cashback if you go through Quidco.

START23 for 25% off full price at Nike.

XmasShoppingsister · 16/11/2023 16:27

Those looking for heated gilets/bodywarmers that INCLUDE the battery pack. This one is one of the better selling and better reviewed ones on Amazon at the moment.

It's currently on a Lightening deal for the next 2hrs 30mins reducing it to £83 then there's a 20% voucher just under the price that you can click on that reduces it to £62.99.

Singlelady23 · 16/11/2023 16:35

I can’t get them to stack 😓I set up a new email for this Xmas 😂 I might hang on and see if anyone find another code to work. The MSE40 is valid until tomorrow night.

They are having a flash sale and Extra10 gives you and extra -0% at TL

TheCrow · 16/11/2023 16:42

If anyone is looking for unusual snacks I'd recommend looking in Polish shops if they have one nearby. They had loads of weird stuff in ours, I picked up these bubblegum flavoured crisps £1.15, minion mug puddings 80p each and taste of Asia sweets with flavours like yuzu, lychee and cherry blossom £1.

Gymshark black friday sale is now on but be warned the site and the app are an absolute nightmare. Glitching and stock being taken out of your basket

TheCrow · 16/11/2023 16:50

I had the £5 Claires C club voucher and went in store to use it, I asked if their plushes were 50% off as it says on their website that they are and they said that they were between 20-50% off instore. I picked up this mini boba tea plush which was £6.40 and used my voucher but looked when I came home and its only £4 on the website and available for click and collect from the same store I got it from. Worth keeping an eye out!

Thanks so much! got dd 2 pairs of leggings which she needs anyways.

Agree re the site tho - had a water bottle in basket and it kept letting me add it but then said OOS .

Theraffarian · 16/11/2023 17:06

@TheCrow last week they price matched the online price for me in store as they said the offers are completely different in store and online , but happy to match the price if you show them the online price .

TheCrow · 16/11/2023 17:15

@Theraffarian thanks, I'll bear that in mind as I have a gift card as well so I'll be popping back in. It does say '50% off all soft toys in store and online' on their website so it's a bit sneaky to then only have 20% off some when you get in store. Although at the same time I only paid £1.60 for an £8 plush and its really cute so I can't complain too much! 😂

poignant · 16/11/2023 17:18

My 10 year old would like some wireless headphones. She’s asking for airpods but when she tried mine they were too big to stay in her ears. Any recommendations for a smaller (and cheaper) brand?

mummymilkfloat · 16/11/2023 18:08

Hello Christmas gurus!
My 5 year old has added jewels on to his list, I’ve got him a geode kit. He remembered when he googled jewels and saw these pictures. I know some of them are just pictures but he thinks they’re real!
I am not sure where I can buy a few large ish plastic jewels? I don’t want a set of lots of little ones which seem easy to find.
thank you!
he only has a few things on his list, blue tack being his number one item! He’s just so lovely and I just want to get him some more lovely sparkly happiness 🩵

Has anyone seen a reasonable 3d calendar? One of those where you pull a sheet off each day and it turns into a sculpture. I can only find £20+ ones, there must be cheaper out there.

LaundryWoes · 16/11/2023 18:18

@mummymilkfloat Amazon have some listed under Diving jewels that are quite big

Kayjay2018 · 16/11/2023 18:19

@mummymilkfloat there is a shop in Swanage called Curiosity that has loads of these in their pocket money section, some large and some smaller, lots of colours (my little girl was looking at them recently 😀. They also have some in the 2p machines. Not sure if you are near a seaside town or not. You could try calling and see if they would send some by post?
