I love the fact that the nn of the person who said this to me is @chocolateisavegetable - very apt!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I need professional shopping help from you, bargain wizards.

I offered to buy my niece's wedding shoes as her Christmas present. They were £73, which is way more than I'd normally spend on Christmas, but she's massively stressed about money/saving for wedding etc. Anyway, between her sending me the link this morning and this afternoon, they've sold out in her size 🤦‍♀️

I've found them on sports direct and house of fraser in her size, but they are £105. Plus, sports direct want £5 delivery on top! Any discount codes or suggestions to make them cheaper would be massively welcome, the codes I've found online haven't worked.

She wants Ted Baker Betzayy shoes in uk size 7.

Would anyone be kind enough to share a student discount for Schuh? DS is in lectures until 7pm tonight and the shoes I want to buy for DD only have 1 pair left and I’m worried I’ll miss out on them by the time DS gets back to me!

@PopcornAndGummyBears SBEBE92B33BEBFC4 for 10% off

PopcornAndGummyBears · 14/11/2023 17:29

@SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything THANK YOU SO MUCH! That was the last thing I needed for any of the DC (other than PJs for Christmas Eve which I can’t even think about at present!) so I am so glad to get them bought. I mean - I’m glad DS is going to his lectures, but does he not realise bargains must be bought?!?

clpsmum · 14/11/2023 17:35

@BlackFlyChardonnay this should give you 10% off at sports direct

HSDSD10OO59NLL9

And this should give you 20% at Ted baker

40-0111-156879

Hope that helps x

BlackFlyChardonnay · 14/11/2023 17:44

@psuedocream3 you absolute bloody legend!! Thanks so much. I'd already looked on next but didn't think of checking clearance. Thank you so, so much.

Freakingflies · 14/11/2023 17:50

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to buy squishmallows? My dad has asked for a 50cm one. I was genuinely (and naively!) quite shocked at the price of them!

PopcornAndGummyBears · 14/11/2023 17:55

Bloody hell! What’s wrong with me? I just posted about how I had bought the last item I needed for my DC and have already twitched on the scrawlr mini kits for my 3 DDs, which of course now means I need to buy something else of a similar price for DS! Hmm I have GOT to get off these threads! Blush

RainbowZebraWarrior · 14/11/2023 18:04

@Freakingflies Your Dad has asked for one?

We've been lucky sometimes with the 50cm ones having £10 off in Smyths. If you have a large B&M near you, they also have them in and usually for a better price. Sometimes there's an offer on Entertainer. Claire's also sell squishmallows and had buy one get one 50% off at the weekend, which I think may still be on.

redjoker · 14/11/2023 18:05

Honestmummydearest · 14/11/2023 16:45

@redjoker hmm yes I’ve gone right the way through, having used your referral link. I’ll wait to get an email before checkout I think!

Can you add my name here?

OneHornedFlyingPurplePeopleEater · 14/11/2023 18:34

Those that have used the spicery before, do you think they're likely to repeat their 30% discount for black Friday?
Gutted I missed out!

Needtostartover · 14/11/2023 18:40

@RainbowZebraWarrior Tesco had the 50cm ones in Black Friday promotion boxes today. No price but a sign saying something like ‘Black Friday deal coming soon’.

poignant · 14/11/2023 18:41

@Freakingflies Does your dad want any specific one like Star Wars? Entertainer has 20% off atm

Puffalicious · 14/11/2023 18:44

Have received many parcels last night & today:

ASOS- some great bargains.
Urban Outfitters- similar good deals.
Boots (luckily all in one piece)
Ulster Weavers (so pleased)
Amazon (great thread recommendations)

Visited Sainsbury's for the 25% off TU (got some things but loads of sizes OOS in store and online, which is irksome).

Just ordered the Apothecary set, which I'll split up.

All in all, a very MN Xmas thread 24 hours!

Apologies for suggesting FB Marketplace for a Switch before. I had no idea many were stolen goods 😱. Anything I've ever bought (admittedly furniture) has been a genuine, good deal. DP recently got a phone after smashing his, and it came with a receipt, so I'd no idea. Sorry again.
.

hopscot · 14/11/2023 18:44

Hello!

Thank you as always for sharing! I benefited from the M&S set 😀

Has anyone seen any deals on wine glasses at all?

Juniperberries200 · 14/11/2023 18:46

@BlackFlyChardonnay I'm not sure if this code works but try AUTUMN15 in your Next purchase.

DD kindly downloaded the apps to my phone after I sent one too many requests for codes last year 🫣🤣.

PopcornAndGummyBears · 14/11/2023 18:57

That is genius @SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything!

BlackFlyChardonnay · 14/11/2023 19:05

Thanks @Juniperberries200 but I immediately purchased. Happy with the price I got anyway 😊

bizzey · 14/11/2023 19:10

@PopcornAndGummyBears ...I feel your pain ...and twitch 🤣🤣🤣!

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 14/11/2023 19:14

bizzey · 14/11/2023 19:15
