I keep seeing that blue tin of Danish biscuits on TikTok, and how everyone’s Nan keeps buttons and nik-naks in it, and it made me wonder if you can still buy them in the tin ?
Ive looked everywhere I’ve been, but not seen them. Help me out ?

We bought a tin last weekend, spotted them and couldn't resist.

Ah, the memories. My Danish Gran did keep buttons in them. I would try Iceland. I've seen them there before.

I'm sure I've seen them in home bargains. I keep looking at them thinking I need to buy some! Yum

Ha! Weren't they the 70s/80s token cheap Christmas gift that you gave to people you felt obliged to buy something for, like the neighbour who watered your plants when you were on holiday? The kind of gift that says if it's the thought that counts, I haven't thought about this at all? A bit like a Bayliss & Harding gift set now.

Mrsjayy · 10/11/2023 14:11

Google is saying waitrose do them.

Mrsjayy · 10/11/2023 14:12

my Gran and then mum always bought them for visitors over Christmas definitely not given as a gift.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 10/11/2023 14:15

Yep. Poundland. Though obviously not for a pound. They should really change their name
