My dd would like one for Christmas. Does anyone have any experience re their sizing?

I have seen someone post saying they needed to return and they don't do refunds only exchange so I am trying to work on what sizing is like. To avoid this.

If you know of any discount codes that would also be very much appreciated.

My daughter’s hoodie also says handwash only. I used the wool/silk programme in our washing machine with detergent meant for delicate fabric. The hoodie washed well and looks like it hasn’t been washed yet. (I’ve washed it twice since Christmas)

I was surprised that these are handwash only, must be something to do with the print. So annoying!

I just turned it inside out and put it in the wash on a wool wash, washed twice since Christmas and dried on a coat hanger on the radiator both times. It’s washed fine.

30 degree wash here in the washing machine and dried on a clothes horse. No problems at all

Thank you all - I’ve emailed with photos showing the fault and they can only accept returns unworn with labels attached!!

I’ve just blasted an email back quoting various bits from UK and Australian consumer rights legislation so will see what happens next.

I’ve had better quality stuff from Shein at a fraction of the price, they’re targeting kids in their marketing on social media & raking in money! 😡😡😡

Ah no that's so disappointing, can I ask which one you have, only someone else seemed to be having an issue with a pink one?
The ones I have here are all darker colours (blues & charcoal & a darker purple) & I've just thrown in the washing machine on 30 & hung to dry & they've come out lovely.
I hope they respond to you, their customer services can be notoriously bad, I've been there myself!

Dd has just stolen my hoodie so I've bought two more on the spur of the moment.
I'm a 5'7 size 10-12 and the quality (m/l size) was so good I'm going to risk it

I got nowhere with customer service for the pink one. It was 30% cotton 70% polyester, and it was see through if a dark colour was under it. It felts so different in quality to the others we have. They have blanked me

Hi the colour I got was Moon, a sort of beige really. I’m getting very little from their customer services (bizarrely lots of “hey babe”, excited punctuation and a kiss at the end of each email like it’s been written by a 12 year old) but no sense of responsibility for the rubbish quality. I’m now at the stage of quoting customer protection legislation, including Australian customer law just in case they come back with what doesn’t apply to them!

Their customer services is horrible!
I will avoid anything pink from them then.
I did just place an order for my youngests birthday. Hope I actually get it this time, I'm giving them another chance! 😭🙈

They are really really slow at replying & then sometimes you only get a generic answer 🙈 Also the patronising babe etc makes me cringe!
Moon I think was the most popular colour.
I am honestly very happy with all the darker colours I got for me & the girls we've had no issues.
I was looking at a lighter hoodie for myself, maybe I'd be best avoiding the lighter colours altogether then 🙈

The two I've ordered are grey and neutral - the other one I have is grey, and really nice. Do you think it's the pink that's the problem rather than the style? I haven't really thought through returns etc as it's in Australia! They only replied two weeks ago to my complaint during the pre Christmas nightmare so not very quick to reply.

I've not had any pink but I've seen a few people have said they've had issues with the pink. Good you are happy with the hoodie you've got, I love mine! My daughters are happy with their tracksuits too.
I'm tempted to order a Lilac hoodie for myself, I love the colour 🙈
Hopefully it wouldn't be like the pink though.

Yes the high standard too in light grey - although it now belongs to dc

DD has the ocean offstage hoodie and the quality is good. Just washed for the first time on 30 degrees and it’s come out perfect. It’s 51/49% ratio cotton and polyester.

The ocean is a really nice blue cant believe I didn't notice it before!

I ended up ordering this although I was eyeing a grey zip sweater. I quite like the look of this style!
Hopefully it's good material like the other ones we have 🤞

The Lilac & lavender hoodies sold out in the size I wanted to try, I'm too slow!
They're got a sale on their gym wear at the moment too so got a few bits, hopefully they'll be good quality & hopefully I've got the right sizes!

They do go really quickly don't they? I think they restock often though outside of Christmas etc

is anyone able to measure the hoodie for me? I don’t know what size to get! Thinking of xs/s or s/m. TIA 😃

@Summersun27 what size are you in clothes? DD is size 6 and 5ft3. She ordered the s/m as the xs was out of stock. Personally I think it’s a bit big and the xs would have been perfect as it still would have been oversized. DD is happy though.

I have twins - 5ft 4 size 8 and they both have the XS/S but they are not massively oversized, they fit like a regular hoodie.

Ordered a xs/s for my granddaughter who’s a petite 12 year old. She could probably have done with the smaller size but she’s very happy with it as it looks cool in the baggy style!

Update after several emails trying to fob me off saying they don’t accept any returns unless items are unworn with labels still attached 😳! I persevered & now they’re sending us a replacement ( have chosen a darker colour).
So keep pushing if you’ve got any issues, they’re duty bound to sort out issues! 👍
