In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

@Room4onemore thanks for that update.

SpinningOutWaitingForYa · 28/09/2023 11:48

Thanks @Reastie - these threads really help and give me such a warm feeling. I do hope you are ok.

Ewock · 28/09/2023 12:08

Just wanted to say thank you to Restie and everyone. I've had a tough few years healthwise due to complications from covid and now have covid for the 4th time 🤦‍♀️ but these threads have helped enormously with saving money, but also reading the kindness from everyone has given me a boost and a light at the end of what seems like a very long tunnel. Because of all of you I've been able to treat my dc, dh and family in ways I never would have been able to. All this really just to say its not just a bargain thread x

whereaw · 28/09/2023 12:26

Does anyone know if baby Annabelle dolls tend to go on sale and is the larger one much better? Found on sale at Argos but not deliverable to me.

GlobetrottingPercy · 28/09/2023 12:58

I’ve been lurking for the previous threads (was massively overinvested in the trespass discounts and whether they would be honoured!) but wanted to add this in case anyone else has any farm mad DC. I’ve just picked this up from Costco for £35 for DS, currently £50 from Asda and £52 on Amazon.

OnionBag · 28/09/2023 13:02

Thanks to the poster who mentioned about the Etsy shop closing down sale. My items arrived today and I’m delighted with them.

Worrywortlady · 28/09/2023 13:04

What was the Etsy shop? Sorry for being that person!!

WhyDoesItAlways · 28/09/2023 13:14

Thank you for the oliver bonas tip. I can confirm that a blue light discount stacks with the £10 credit.

Sunnydays41 · 28/09/2023 13:15

Does anyone else think the OB orders will be cancelled? The T&Cs state that it is a £5 credit off a minimum spend of £10 (excluding delivery)... Perhaps a techie mistake!

Dextybooboo · 28/09/2023 13:21

I have spotted a few reductions in my basket on Very if any interest to anyone? Some may drop lower in the run up to Christmas.

My daughters desperate for the dog but not sure I can justify the price. The Jelli Crush seem like the doll version of jujitzu's.

Fluffyc1ouds · 28/09/2023 13:28

Thanks for the Oliver Bonas tip! I got the £10 credit and bought the bath disco light (thanks to PP for suggesting that) and a hot chocolate bomb, both for DS stocking. Came to £6 with postage (I also used a discount code from Health Service Discounts). Will wait and see if it ships or gets cancelled!

OnionBag · 28/09/2023 13:30

@Worrywortlady it was StylishlyParty on Etsy though I’ve just had another look and the discounts aren’t what they were. It’s only 5% off now.

Threeboysadogandacat · 28/09/2023 13:35

@ExPreschoolTrustee Thank you. I will have a look at mighty ape. That might be the way forward. Unfortunately I don’t think we will ever be able to afford to visit them and dh wouldn’t fly that far anyway but I suspect they may come home for a visit next Christmas. Last year I just transferred money for the boys but I think it might be nice for them to get an occasional parcel although I may change my mind when I see how much it costs. I hope you enjoy your visit.

I’m also an Oliver Bonas sheep. I got 2 of the wax melt burners. They will suit my sisters decor perfectly.

Qwerty21 · 28/09/2023 13:41

Do we need a code for Oliver bonas?

FizzyOranges · 28/09/2023 13:49

Mydogisamentalist · 28/09/2023 11:03

Whoever it was that mentioned the Smiggle sale on the last thread, thank you! Managed to get a good few stocking fillers and a couple of big sets as well!

Does anybody know a code that works for shopdisney? Dd is having a dressing up station as her main Santa gift and she’d love the SpiderGwen mask. I’d rather not pay £32 for it though if I can help it!

Please tell me more about your dressing up station plans - that sounds amazing and I think my DD would love!

DogsAreAGirlsBestFriend · 28/09/2023 13:49

My 1st Years has a few discounts going on:
30% off over £100
25% off over £55
20% off over £35

Pedestriancrossing · 28/09/2023 13:52

Yay! Got the Oliver Bonas £10 store credit and ordered some chocolate reindeer noses (£5.50) for nothing as the store credit covered the P&P as well! Thank you!

snowmanshoes · 28/09/2023 13:54

20-25% off body shop orders including advent calendars with code THRIVE

SophieTheGuineaPig · 28/09/2023 14:09

Guys, my DD has requested from Santa to bring her a toy dog :) She'll be 2 years, 9 months this Christmas.

Any recommendations? I was looking at the little live pets dog, but perhaps there's a nicer option. It will be her "big gift".

My DDs loved the Hamley’s flipping puppy at that age. A 7 year old friend took great delight in it this weekend as well! Although warning that I tired of the barking way before the children… 😁

@SophieTheGuineaPig

What about something like this one at Smyths?

RainbowZebraWarrior · 28/09/2023 14:34

Poundland have 10% off for the next couple of days and have lots of Halloween and Christmas stuff.

Bizarrely, this pumpkin treat bucket is showing at 0p and allowed me to add to my basket.

gawditswindy · 28/09/2023 14:42

Thanks for the OB tip - got a lovely seed pack for my sis for £4. Quick tip tho: it defaults to next day delivery at £6 and you have to change it before checkout!

1stTimeMama · 28/09/2023 14:54

I saw the post about the Meta Quest 1 being reduced on Very. My son one on his list, but they're just releasing v.3 so will this mean thr v.1 is pretty much null and void, or will he still be able to get use out of it? I know nothing about them, so am clueless!

MercyNursey · 28/09/2023 14:58

Not a bargain but I’ve seen a few people looking for Terry’s chocolate mint (instead of orange!).

I got 2 this morning from Premier stores (ours is a petrol station). They were 2 for £3 and also had the toffee crunch flavour
