@Yalz Are those m&s sets coverless? Another poster mentioned a 1 tog?!

No, they were separate listings but all on the page I linked.

1 tog duvet (double size only left now), Sylitherin bedding set (duvet cover with a zip and pillowcases) and Ravenclaw (duvet cover and pillowcases.)

hby9628 · 06/10/2023 12:29

Has anybody seen a black & white cocker spaniel Petootie? My DD is desperate for one for her birthday (weds) although even Xmas would be fine. I've tried several stores but it seems impossible.
I'm trying to avoid paying over the odds on Vinted

Any lululemon discounts around? Adult dd borrowed my brand new (birthday gift - unused) belt bag & wants to keep it
Cheek of it lol so I am going to punish her by buying her one as a small bday gift

sorryiasked · 06/10/2023 12:59

@hby9628 have you tried phoning your nearest Smyths stores to see if they have one?

hby9628 · 06/10/2023 13:04

@sorryiasked yes I did a trip to smyths the other night but they didn't have what she wanted. Thanks though. I've tried Claire's, the works. They come up at Tesco when I search online so that's my next place to try.

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 06/10/2023 13:11

@hby9628 I'll be going to my local Smyths later on if you want me to check there and post out to you in the morning if they have it?

hby9628 · 06/10/2023 13:29

@CanIPutTheTreeUpYet that would be amazing thank you xx

RumItOver · 06/10/2023 13:36

Hi. I have had a scan through but I can't see the post explaining how to get £10 off at Oliver Bonas. I have signed up to the and can get £5 but would obviously love the extra!!! Can anyone help? I may have missed the boat of course!

TheBigFish · 06/10/2023 14:19

@RumItOver mine said £5. But when I checked out and applied store credit it was £10.

Lindt advent calanders £5 on Amazon

Mine says up to 2 months shipping, might be too late for Dec 1st

derrydee · 06/10/2023 14:38

Jolly Christmas postman down to £6.50 which seems quite good.

Sorry on Amazon that should say!

Lurleene · 06/10/2023 14:51

I've just been to Waitrose and they had some naice gins on clearance. I got a £28 gin for £14.49 for the present stash. It may be store specific but worth a look if you are passing.

Blessedbethefruitz · 03/10/2023 21:55

Has anyone seen a good reusable advent (ds will be almost 5)? I've got 48 little mario figures but nothing to put them in yet! I was going to decoupage the plain wood ones from the works, but the knobs don't come off. I'm running out of creative steam, it's my busiest time of year at work :(

@Blessedbethefruitz catching up on posts so a bit behind the thread but Dibor do lovely ones and they're really reasonably priced

Callmesleepy · 06/10/2023 16:03

Heads up that the free spicery calendar seems to be a wall one rather than an advent one. Tragic, I was very excited.

Thank you! I've been waiting for a deal on this. It's been at 12 quid for ages.

My apologies, I either read it wrong or wrote it wrong. I’ve got flu and my head was in bed before I was.
Still a nice bonus as I didn’t get the calendar with the first order, so it’s an extra gift

RumItOver · 06/10/2023 16:21

@TheBigFish thank you I will try checking out 🤞

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 06/10/2023 16:48

@hby9628 so sorry, we had three assistants helping us look for them and when we finally found them (under a dangly sloths legs, where else would they be!) there weren't any spaniels, hope you get one sorted soon though xx

hby9628 · 06/10/2023 16:50

@CanIPutTheTreeUpYet no problem. Thank you so much for looking xx

LemonFrosting · 06/10/2023 17:40

I don't suppose anyone has any roller coaster toy ideas please?! Five year old son has just started taking an interest in them. I've sen a lego space coaster set that looks good, but wondering if there's anything else?!

Zitouna · 06/10/2023 18:15

Finally something to post! Just picked up these advent activity sheets for £3 at Poundland

Blixem · 06/10/2023 18:15

Thank you @derrydee! I nearly bought this yesterday at full price.

derrydee · 06/10/2023 18:45

@Blixem i had a camelcamel alert still set up from a previous year. On this thread we must try NEVER to pay full price!

mydogisthebest · 06/10/2023 09:58

Thank you to the poster who posted about the duvets in M&S.

Just bought a 1 tog for £9 (should have been £45). I didn't even know you could get 1 tog duvets.

Will be great as we use a 4.5 tog all year round and in the summer are always far too hot with it and chilly without it.

Do you have a link for that pls? I can't find one under £20 odd.
