M&S has reduced some of its sale prices, including a Ravenclaw and Slytherin cotton blend duvet sets for £5 or £5:50. Only double bed size left, though. (!)

Thank-you. Like a previous poster, just got the 1 tog (king size) duvet. £9.00 down from £45.00. Bargain! 😊

Hi. I popped into TKMAXX today as someone on here had mentioned that they were selling Japanese sweets/snacks.

I found some - biscuits, noodles and mochi but they were all between four- six months out of date. I thought it was illegal to sell such out of date foodstuff.

I would have flagged it up in store but some of the staff in my local branch are breathtakingly rude.

Be careful to check the sell by dates if you are buying foodstuffs in there.

It was me! I'm sorry that's frustrating. The one I went to, there were out of dates stuff in clearance but the main stuff seemed okay.

Blessedbethefruitz · 06/10/2023 08:14

@Yalz Are those m&s sets coverless? Another poster mentioned a 1 tog?!

My folks have ordered this spidey toy for my 3.5 year old...it's pretty big and worth £23 I'd say...RRP £85, selling in Argos for £42.50

Marvel F37215S1 SAF Spider Crawl R, Multi amzn.eu/d/7xvg3TZ

Just to say the price on this Spidey and his Amazing Friends toy has gone up again to £79.94, £23 was a really good deal and I'm gutted I missed it! This one (which is the same) is at £42.50, so half that price or so, and not a bad price. Smyths toys have it for £55.

Thank you to the poster who posted about the duvets in M&S.

Just bought a 1 tog for £9 (should have been £45). I didn't even know you could get 1 tog duvets.

Will be great as we use a 4.5 tog all year round and in the summer are always far too hot with it and chilly without it.

redjoker · 06/10/2023 10:04

Not entirely on topic, but thinking ahead to Christmas viewing! Is there ever such a thing as a Netflix deal for new customers?

Blixem · 06/10/2023 11:04

@mummymummymummummum Netflix don't seem to do introductory offers. I looked when I joined up a few months ago.

NowTV often do £1 a month for films. Usually for about 3 months.

ChocolateGate, Part Deux!

I'm only seeing it for £8.95?

Spaghettihulahoops · 06/10/2023 11:34

@mummymummymummummum you can use Tesco Clubcard point to halve it.

mummymummymummummum · 06/10/2023 11:40

It doesn’t come up when I search. It suggests Disney+ though.

I don’t normally shop in Tesco so only have £1.50 waiting in there anyway!

Icantfindanewname · 06/10/2023 11:43
