@Callmesleepy they can't all brie bad!

🤣 Edam, girl! That made me giggle.

I’m sure so long as you choose Caerphilly you should be ok.

sorry, I’ll get my coat…..

Beckafett · 02/10/2023 17:31

Did we reach a consensus on which marble run may be better for us older kids- mine love a good activity on Boxing Day and I think this would be a hit

BiteyBitingBiters · 02/10/2023 17:38

Thank you for the information on the bluey advent, think I will have to look for something else for her as we have started a collection of the books already. 😊

CharlyBird · 02/10/2023 17:40

@BiteyBitingBiters from past experience I know legislation is autocorrect for Lego! We got the Lego Star wars advent calendar from Costco for about £17, bit there were very few, they were mainly Harry Potter ones. Might be worth a look if you have a card or know anyone who has. I've seen Lego city ones there in the past but they didn't have it last week.

Blessedbethefruitz · 02/10/2023 18:08

Thanks, I've done the spicery order! SPICETROOP is still working for an extra 10% off too :)

@Coronado2 @SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything good tips on the cheese. Sad times, I had a fancy fake camembert with crusty baguette on my Christmas food plan. If anyone knows any good dairy free camembert please share the love, they can't all brie bad!

The best one I've tried is the Nurishh one that they sell in sainsburys - tho I also have a vio life one in the fridge to try as it was on special offer. Camembert is one of the better fake cheeses - I can't stand fake cheddar (except cathedral city Which is bareable)

Discount code SPICETROOP will give 10% off at The Spicery.

I just got the Curry Legend Cookbook Kit for £20.50 delivered.

Thanks for this! I had my eye on a kit for DF, now ordered. I went for the “how to be a curry legend”, but was torn between that and the chef specials; decided to go for the former with the view he can progress to the chef specials for another occasion

BiteyBitingBiters · 02/10/2023 19:34

@CharlyBird Thank you, unfortunately not near a Costco, wish I was though keep seeing so many good deals there. And I didnt notice I'd not put Lego lol.
If anyone needs to place a full price order on disney the code STITCH15 takes 15% off. Just purchased some of the sale munchlings and a few full price things and it just works on non sale items within the order.

wutheringkites · 02/10/2023 19:37

What kind of shelf life do the Spicery spice mixes have? I'm tempted to order the Curry Legends kit but I'd rather not have it all sit in a cupboard for 2.5 months if the spice mixes only last 6 months or so.

gobblegobblenibblenibble · 02/10/2023 19:58

I've just ordered the spicery curry legend kit for me! I gifted one last year to my brother in law and it was a big hit so the extra 10% off had me sold

I've added my referral code to the referral thread - no idea if the codes stack but might be worth a try if anyone hasn't ordered from them before

Luhou · 02/10/2023 20:09

Sorry not read the whole thread, but just ordered DD what looks to be a good scooter on offer from JL.

Pink and blue avaliable. Might be of use to somebody!

@Luhou We have this in red from 2 years ago, it's brilliant, still looks and drives great :)

Montanna15 · 02/10/2023 20:37

Dows anyone know how to get any discount on the look fantastic advent calender that's £99? Student discount does not work on that item. Thank you

SpinningOutWaitingForYa · 02/10/2023 20:37

Any advice on the Instax cameras?
DC has decided they'd quite like one!
Wondering if it's a bit of a fad or will be used?

If anyone spies any good deals I'd be grateful!

My eldest had one a few years ago and the film was expensive but I must admit I do cherish the pictures she took.
She dropped hers (we did get one with a case but it was when it was out of the case) and we've not managed to get it working since.

Thanks!!
