The Victoria's Secret sale is on with up to 50% off. I just got my DD16 a lovely nightwear cami for £8 down from £29 (which is much more than 50% surely...? Anyway, not complaining!)

Are the mists ever any cheaper than £12? I once saw them on the Next app for £10. Ideally I'd like to buy the smaller bottles to see which they like but the set is £24.

Spiralcar · 22/09/2023 10:29

Hoping someone might be able to suggest a shop for some (hopefully) bargainous but decent quality gold studs for DD14?

Lisa Angel often have excellent sales for jewellery like this

Georgieporgie29 · 22/09/2023 10:46

Bit of a niche one possibly, but does anyone know if Tatty Devine ever do discounts?

OnionBag · 22/09/2023 10:50

@Georgieporgie29 I’ve heard that TD have to move premises soon due to rents etc so they probably will have some sort of moving sale.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 22/09/2023 10:54

@Delahot as PP mentioned centre parcs allow 14 year olds in their spa, its pricey but you can just do a spa break which would make it cheaper than taking the whole family for the weekend.
Unsure where in the North West you are but have you looked at Village Hotels? While it's not a traditional spa as such there's a pool, steam room, and spa pool so an overnight with face packs and a spot of shopping plus that might work? My Dd is 12 and my plan is to do that at the Ashton one near Manchester as a pre Christmas girly night, (its the best one ive been to, but theres a lot of them) There's a tram stop within walking distance, and a cinema etc plus they do room service which will impress her no end 😂

Georgieporgie29 · 22/09/2023 10:56

@OnionBag thank you, I’ll hang on then just in case.

Darkbutstarrynight · 22/09/2023 11:04

@gawditswindy Thanks :) Don't suppose you ever found a barginous place to buy the capsules did you?

gawditswindy · 22/09/2023 11:06

Quick question for (mainly) Scottish people and those who know about football gear (a tad niche!). I'm hoping to get DH a Scotland football shirt so a) any discounts ever? And b) are they likely to change their shirts before the Euros? He's very relaxed about not having the current one but it'd be a bit galling to pay £100 and it not to be the one they wear for the finals (IF they qualify).

I know about who sports kits cheap site but hoping to get the genuine article as it will be his main present.

Threeboysadogandacat · 22/09/2023 11:07

@BastardtheCat thank you. I will check Tesco out on my way home later.

@Flubadubba thanks. I often forget to check Topcashback and Quidco.

My valentte.com stuff arrived - oh my gosh it smells so lovely! Such a good bargain and I'd definitely recommend their stuff from the smell at least.

Hi are the cheapest nomination charms £22?

My mum bought my dd13 a bracelet and two charms one for her birthday.

She is getting dd11 a bracelet plus both a charm each for Christmas.

I know they are cheaper than Pandora but they really don't look worth the money and I wondered if I could save my mum some money.

The BLC discount which my mum and husband have doesn't work.

Are there ever any offers? Anyone tried the cheap fake ones?

Thanks.

In my view the nomination charms are worth the price - my DH bought me a bracelet as a mothers day present about 20 years ago. I wear it every day and it still looks good with no damage, wear to any of the links.

IggyAce · 22/09/2023 11:26

@benoticanarsed select fragrances of the Victoria secrets body mists were half price last Black Friday, you can have them sent to a Next store for free so saves on p&p.

benoticanarsed · 22/09/2023 11:27

@Eve Wow I didn't know they had been around that long. I'm not into charm bracelets as I know they can be expensive and are very sentimental plus my kids don't appreciate things. Thank you.'

1stTimeMama · 22/09/2023 11:29

Has anyone shopped with OnBuy? In particular, have you bought Lego? They're so much cheaper than everywhere else, and I did see somewhere that they were official Lego stockists, but I'm suspicious because of the prices!

Also, thanks to everyone who gave opinions and advice on the Wet brush for my curly boys. I'll be getting a couple of them to help make hairbrushing a bit less traumatic!

WhyHasAllTheRumGone · 22/09/2023 11:31

@Delahot Alton Towers spa do mini treatments for age 8 and up when accompanied but I don't think they actually get spa access.

Re. Coffee machines. We got rid of Tassimo a couple of years ago and got the basic delonghi espresso maker (also has milk frother for cappuccino etc). We grind our own beans (lidl often do big 1.2kg bags) and its worked out much cheaper (plus better for environment) than pod machine. Also uht milk from pods is yuck.

Scout2016 · 22/09/2023 11:57

@Realfastfoodie I don't suppose it's the older turn handle Singer you use is it? My daughter made something with one at a workshop recently and loved it, she would like a sewing machine for Christmas and I wondered about that style because she's 7 and there seemed less risk of injury. But there are so many out there of different styles and widely ranging prices I'm lost. Also most don't have instructions and I am beyond clueless.

I get them from Amazon on subscribe and save but not massively bargainous sadly. Poundstretcher used to be worth a look but they've not had them for a good price for a while.

PunishmentSnart · 22/09/2023 12:05

@Crimsonbow What was the offer on these if you don't mind me asking?
