@Froppysue thank you. I'm hoping I've managed to get one from a French website of all places.

starbright92 · 20/09/2023 15:35

Connetix tiles are having their yearly 15% off sale. Great present for little ones and younger children. Have just purchased another set for my children as they love them!

Callmesleepy · 20/09/2023 16:04

@happytobemrsg what about lights for the den or a little speaker? This one looks nice

happytobemrsg · 20/09/2023 16:05

@Callmesleepy oh yes that’s a good idea!

PlanBea · 20/09/2023 16:36

@derrydee there's 15% off for students at the moment, I'll PM you a code x

Ehunt1 · 20/09/2023 16:56

I’ve just had an email from Stylishly Party saying I’m being refunded £4. But I have no idea what I’m being refunded for.

I got a similar email for £3.00 but no information on what's out of stock. It'll be a surprise then to see what arrives.

Wet brush down to £6 on Amazon, lowest price in the last 30days.

Lastminutebride · 20/09/2023 17:52

Loving all of the bargains! I managed to get quite a few things in the Tesco toy sale

Niche question but does anyone have any suggestions for a family member of mine who is an old-fashioned socialist, I once got them a Vive Le Revolution candle that went down extremely well, looking for something equally political but light-hearted. I am trawling Etsy but not found quite the right thing yet.

The website present indicative might have something they would like. I’ve bought some well received things for a few family members in the past.

@FroppySue - have you tried Urban Outfitters? Quite pricey but when DH & I were in their recently with teen DD we commented that it was like being in GAP in the 90s

ArthurChristmas22 · 20/09/2023 18:17

And me! @Ehunt1

MerryChristmas2021 · 20/09/2023 18:51

You could try black and beech for feminist / left wing things?

Someaddedsugar · 20/09/2023 18:52

Does the Crimpit (the toastie thing) ever go in a bargain deal? I'm thinking of getting it for a secret Santa gift for the brother in law of DP's brother in law (yes we do a very very extended secret Santa 😂) as it feels like a gift that anyone could use?

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 20/09/2023 19:02

@Someaddedsugar No idea if they go lower but they are 9.99 at the moment on their own website which is 11.98 when you add postage (which makes it same as Amazon) - they do currently have free postage if you buy 2 products (and if you add one original one to your basket they let you add a 2nd for 6.99 so 16.98 for 2 if you know someone else you can gift to (or for yourself 😀) which I'm a bit miffed about as I bought 3 the other week but in red and that offer is only on yellow one it seems. I would have ordered yellow if I had known that 😂

rosieredhead · 20/09/2023 19:08

Someone mentioned a service to buy something in the US and get it sent to the UK and I have searched but cannot find it. Hoping someone remembers or can recommend?

Ehunt1 · 20/09/2023 19:17

@rosieredhead i tried Myus.com. I was trying to order a few toys from
Target last Christmas. Target cancelled my order because they recognised the shipping address was a MyUS warehouse. I ended up buying from Amazon.com which worked out way cheaper.

rosieredhead · 20/09/2023 19:18

Thank you @Ehunt1 its for a very target specific item so good to know to avoid!

Ehunt1 · 20/09/2023 19:26

@rosieredhead it was very annoying, Target used to shop here, same as Williams Sonoma but when the European privacy laws changed they stopped it.
i also tried PlanetExpress and Target knew it was a warehouse address too🤦🏻‍♀️ you also need to have a US card to pay for it. I use USunlocked for my US bank card (I set it up so I could watch Yellowstone before it was on here 🤠)

It's currently two for £16.99 on Prime too.

Anyone else bought stuff from the 90% Cath Kidston sale and got a strange order confirmation email from 'Mary'?! I hope it's not a scam!

My friend did this.

She was telling me it was a scam.

Yoyoyo1 · 20/09/2023 20:23

Any idea what I should do?

happytobemrsg · 20/09/2023 20:24

@Yoyoyo1 definitely a scam: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/cath-kidston-clearance-sale-scam/

Froppysue · 20/09/2023 20:24

@letmesailletmesail ooh thanks no idea why I didn’t think of urban outfitters, I usually get sent money off codes too as I bought a cheap waffle maker there last year
