What Christmas goodies are you looking forward to?

As the title says! I’m thinking particularly food stuff from the supermarkets.
For me it’s lidls mini stollen,
marks and Spencer’s clementines
marks and Spencer’s panettone

I love all the food items you only get at Christmas- if we had them year round they wouldn’t be so exciting!!

I don't know if they still exist but those Thornton mint creams in the green foil with the crispy but . Used to be DoubleCream Mints

I love appeteasers, they're only out at Christmas but I end up eating the whole pack

We ge it from Asda but I have heard other supermakets do similar ones, its usually so hit and miss to find though here.

Last year I thought they discontinued it but then 1 randomly showed up.

Yes! I discovered them a couple of years ago, and can't do without them. Also, Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes. It's not Christmas until I've had one (at least) of those.

All the cheese and pate. I save up and spend too much money on lovely cheeses, I look forward to it all year.

The delicious roast dinner that I will cook - nothing fancy but I love doing it.

We get a box of chocolate covered dates from 'The Datery'. They. Are. Immense.

I ordered some of our cheese yesterday from the cheese shop in the village. 🧀🧀🧀🧀 I'll order more from Booths too. Plus we get Brie, Shropshire Blue and Stilton from Aldi. We love cheese!

The mini mince pies from M and S. I kid myself I’m being good for not getting the normal size ones 😂 As luck would have it I’m the only one here who likes them so they’re all miiiiiine…..

Our local Markies already stocked with Christmas cake and puddings. Lots of choccies too.

I’ve got a marks and Spencer’s voucher to spend on goodies! Can’t wait to go and see what they’ve got.

Having smoked salmon on blinis with a bit of soured cream mixed with horseradish and topped with caviar and dill every day for brunch over the Christmas period!

Thomas Fudge Florentines (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, salted caramel or all of the above)

Artisan Du Chocolat salted caramels, available all year round but they are always my Christmas treat from me to me

Too much cheese, plus Membrillo to eat with the manchego

Ohhh . I'm going to do a cake tasting session from now until I'm sick of the sight of cake .

I bought some slices a few years back (I think Sainsbury) they were "ok" . So if I try all the readily available small cakes , just the ones marzipanned and iced on the top , I'll have a winner by November
