What board games did you play and you want to play today? Do you like board games or hate just to see them on the table?

I love board games and Christmas is no Christmas without board games.
Yesterday we played

Lotti Karotti (hit with a three year old and 8 year old)

Camel Up

Catan

Scrabble

To bring us together we like a quiz and karaoke.

minipie · 26/12/2022 08:07

We did charades and riddles from a stocking filler riddle book. Not a huge board game fan.

Cheguevarahamster · 26/12/2022 08:09

We played Jaws, which was fun. Got few new ones to play today.

MintJulia · 26/12/2022 08:10

This year, we've played chess, Uno, Monopoly & Scrabble.

DS beat me at the first three. It's been good to have the time 😊

FrenchFancie · 26/12/2022 08:12

We did articulate - very funny (used kids questions for the kids team!)

HiccupHorrendousHaddock · 26/12/2022 08:13

7 Wonders
Ticket To Ride Europe
No!
Exploding Kittens

Then a bunch of quizzes.

imnotwhoyouthinkiam · 26/12/2022 08:14

We played
Diamond Heist
Lose your letters
Monopoly Deal
Rubiks Cage
And about a thousand rounds of Secret Hitler.

Aria20 · 26/12/2022 08:21

We played trivial pursuit but via Nintendo switch as easier than dealing with physically sitting on the floor or at the table for hours!

I HATE monopoly I could have cried one year the in-laws bought the kids monopoly for Xmas lol.

KangarooKenny · 26/12/2022 08:28

I like Uno, you can stop whenever you want.
I hate getting tied into longer games like Monopoly,

B1993 · 26/12/2022 08:31

DS is 3.5 so didn't do board games as I've not come across an age appropriate one (might have to look into the one you mentioned above, OP). We did however play pin the nose on Rudolph and Christmas snap. Snap in particular was a hit 😊

HowForNow · 26/12/2022 08:32

Articulate here too. Took a bit longer that some people would've liked but was great fun. We usually do uno which is probably our family favourite. And we'll be playing the task master game today.

Natsku · 26/12/2022 08:37

We played maki stack and spookies (our new games this year and worked well even with a 4 year old so long as we let him cheat a bit at maki stack). Later on we played jackbox without youngest.

PhotoDad · 26/12/2022 08:39

Everdell! And going to launch into ISS Vanguard today.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 26/12/2022 08:39

We didn’t play any but it was just so lovely to have DD14 with us instead of skulking in her room. We ended up having a real laugh.

ChocHotolate · 26/12/2022 08:39

We played Kids Against Maturity (kids versions of cards against humanity) and today we're going for contactless monopoly

zebrapig · 26/12/2022 08:39

We played Linkee which was a bit of a miss and Eye Know which was a hit. Planned over the next few days are:

Monopoly Speed
Camel Cup
Ticket to Ride
Monopoly Deal
Mah Jongg
Carcasonne
Pandemic

HelenHywater · 26/12/2022 08:58

We have played so many games over the last couple of days - but Telestrations was the biggest hit. So so funny (playing with kids aged 10-23).

We played that too !

skippy67 · 26/12/2022 09:30

Uno Extreme yesterday.
Articulate (my fave) today.

Recycledblonde · 26/12/2022 09:33

We played Deception, Codewords and Chameleon. All adult group and had a fantastic time.

idontevenknowanyonecalledblurb · 26/12/2022 09:36

We played herd mentality- good fun and easy for the kids to join in

adriftabroad · 26/12/2022 09:45

Cluedo.

ODFOx · 26/12/2022 09:47

Sounds Fishy was our new one yesterday and was a great success.

SillyBub · 26/12/2022 09:54

A sports trivia game, The Chase and Beat the Chasers, Articulate and Trivial Pursuit!

EmmaGrundyForPM · 26/12/2022 09:59

6 adults here. We played a few games, but the most popular and fun one was "Confident".
