Warm white on all trees and the outdoor lights. I don’t really like the bright white ones and never been keen on multi coloured. I think the warm whites are so cosy. Will post pics tomorrow as we’re currently at in the laws.

Multi colour lights on the dining room tree because it is the 'lesser' one.

Only ever warm whites on the main tree.

Clymene · 11/12/2022 19:14

Warm white everywhere

TheFallenMadonna · 11/12/2022 19:16

My tree will go up next weekend, but it will have coloured lights, because that's what I grew up with and love. All other lights in the house (and outside) are warm white.

TheFallenMadonna · 11/12/2022 19:17

In fact it will have coloured filament bulbs, rather than LED. My lights are pretty old...

Warm white and warm multi coloured (retro - blue, yellow, red, green and pink)

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 11/12/2022 21:27

Multi coloured on a white tree. I really want a set of retro lights with the plastic 'flowers' for next year (I can't think of any other way to describe them).

Baconand · 11/12/2022 21:31

White LED, I think they are warm white but not sure. I’m not a coloured light fan.
I can’t have twinkling ones sadly as they trigger my migraines.

Cleanthatup · 11/12/2022 21:36

We always have warm white indoors and out.

@PinkSparklyPussyCat oh yes I know the ones you mean, my mum had them years ago!!

I have retro coloured lights! I love them! And multicoloured decs! Love my tree.

Snoopystick · 11/12/2022 21:37

Another ‘warm white’ here 😄

MajorCarolDanvers · 11/12/2022 21:39

Warm white and multi coloured

Saz12 · 11/12/2022 21:39

Multicoloured! Have had them years and like the mixture of newish, oldish, old, very old, and even older decorations that go on the tree.

TheGriffle · 11/12/2022 21:47

Warm white and multicoloured berry lights on my tree.

I adore multi coloured lights but since DS is now an adult and I’m old I’m preferring a more adult friendly warm white vibe this year.
I have a real tree, sparkly bright multi coloured baubles and glass sweets to brighten it up. Less moody atmosphere and more cheer I think.

Shodan · 11/12/2022 21:59

@PinkSparklyPussyCat They're called Pickwick shades- I was looking at them earlier 😁www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B015XLQLOY/?coliid=I3A1WWMWW8FG1R&colid=3TUGCGIWHETRF&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 11/12/2022 22:14

Warm white here too

SockFluffInTheBath · 11/12/2022 22:23

Multi-coloured on the tree, and round the room with the tree in it. Warm white on the front of the house.

We used to have a very 'tasteful' colour scheme (white and silver, bought the first year and reused every year) but the DCs asked for bright colours once when they were small, and I much prefer it. It's not tasteful and it's not co-ordinated, there's a mixture of all sorts of baubles on the tree, and various hanging decorations that we've accumulated over the years. It's a bit of a mix of traditional, homely, and the 1980s.

IhearyouClemFandango · 11/12/2022 22:30

Old school Canterbury bell style coloured lights.

Plus a multitude of decs accumulated over a long time.

Previously we had warm white always, but we have had these coloured ones for a few years now.

Warm white on all trees. I despise coloured light. Even worse if they flash. Apart from my granny's silver 1970's tree with coloured flower lights. They were amazing!

YorkieTheRabbit · 11/12/2022 22:42

One tree has warm white and the other has coloured lights, outside tree has white. Dp wanted coloured lights Xmas Grin

Luredbyapomegranate · 11/12/2022 22:48

70s/80s multicolour bonanza complete with threadbare tinsel, and a wonky Angel at the top.

MintyGreenDreams · 11/12/2022 22:49

Cold white

MonkeyPuddle · 11/12/2022 22:52

Multicoloured chaos

Warm white. Usually have red berry lights on too but couldn't find them.
I love multicoloured lights but not the LED blue/red/green/yellow ones.
