I've waited for Black Friday, but sadly I don't think DSs lego typewriter is going to be discounted anywhere as it is quite rare and I daren't wait any longer. Argos it is, so can get my double nectar points and use my NHS cash back card, but does anyone have an Argos discount code still valid? It is stupidly expensive so I'm trying to reduce it as much as possible! Thanks

@Epictantrum would it not be better at Lego via Quidco for the £50 bonus?

poorbuthappy · 25/11/2022 07:57

Bought 3 Maybelline sky high mascaras for £6.33 each on Amazon.

Epictantrum · 25/11/2022 07:59

@user143677433 it would have been but they've stopped the offer, too many opt-ins

Vebrithien · 25/11/2022 08:00

Nope nope nope, you cannot collect Nectar points, whilst redeeming them.

So, do I get the cheaper one and save my points for food, or pay more using Nectar points? Arrrgh!

Carrie76 · 25/11/2022 08:01

Thanks for the kitbag suggestions unfortunately I can’t get a name on it there

On the last thread someone posted that if you buy through Quidco and spend £100 you get £50 cash back.

Hi all, I missed one day and that equalled almost all of the last thread! After missing out on the asda heated throw I've been waiting for some black Friday offers to pop up. If there are bargains ones please let me know.
I've been looking at some amazingly cheap ones on Amazon for under £30 but they seem to only heat a small patch of the throw rather than the whole thing...if anyone has one and can say if that still works well I'd be very interested too. It'd for my mum who is having some minor surgery in Jan but is likely to be on the sofa a fair bit so I'd like to treat her - but with limited funds!

Hardpillow · 25/11/2022 08:08

Hi, my brother and Susan in law go on honeymoon in Jan, so I was thinking of getting my sis in law some posh sun cream. Just wondered if you guys had any recommendations or have seen any discounts on dior, chanel etc please (if they do sun cream)

redjoker · 25/11/2022 08:10

Ill keep a look out today, does it need to be an online order or can you do click or collect, (I know asda have lots in store) @oriel2013

I really really hope this isn't a typo and her name is Susan so you call her your Susan in law 😂😂

oriel2013 · 25/11/2022 08:12

@redjoker Thanks so much. I did go into the nearest Asda to me but they had sold out almost immediately according to the person in store and he didn't think they'd be getting more in (I got the impression all the staff had bought one at the bargain £30 price which I would have too if I worked there to be fair!)

MsMiaWallace · 25/11/2022 08:16

ASOS have 20% extra off today.

Oh that’s worth a drive to nearest store!

woodwaj · 25/11/2022 08:18

The lego quidco deal has already expired I think

Hardpillow · 25/11/2022 08:21

I've just read and laughed, it's a typo I'm afraid but may have to call it her anyway

Hardpillow · 25/11/2022 08:21

The above was for @Spinningaround18

@Carrie76 Lots of places seem to have the shirt but none seem to offer names on them

Yes you can with Argos. You get the points and the discounted item! I've done it loads (as recently as last Friday).

NoWordForFluffy · 25/11/2022 08:25

Here is proof re Nectar points.

I just got Ticket to Ride. As I also had £4 in gift voucher credit, it was just over £18.

usernotfound0000 · 25/11/2022 08:30

Thanks for the ticket to ride tip. I also had an offer on my Amazon account where I for £5 credit for adding a debit card, I added one that I don't really use, still used my normal payment card to buy so got it for £17.49! Absolute bargain
