A locally grown real tree is better for the environment than a fake one
how do you work that one out?
mine was second hand £1.50 from a charity shop, 12 years ago. A pity buy as he was in the charity shop, looking sad and lonely. I'd just moved in & had stuff everywhere, I wasn't going to get a tree. But I couldn't leave him there!! I had only popped in to add a few bits to their collection of things to give to people over Christmas.
he has a metal 'trunk' and a plastic stand & some likely environmentally in friends 'pine needles' but he's been here 12 years now & no idea how many years he'd be in service for, but a fair few I'd guess.
how can he possibly be less environmentally friendly than a 'real' one which has to be chopped down and fuel used to deliver, then taken away & disposed of??
@Doughnuts68 I had intended to put it up this weekend, but haven't been well enough to get everything out of the loft & sorted out. Hopefully this week.
enjoy your 🌲 xx
