As the only person not in the Tesco queue, I love going to the supermarket on 23rd. I preorder Christmas food from Cook though, so it’s only bits I’m buying. I like the huddle and bustle 😂

Haha yes although I can find it stressful sometimes it's deffo an Xmas vibe! Xx

@Irritatedmum thanks so much for the hot diamonds codes, just bagged myself a lovely pair of earrings 🤙

Hotel Chocolat velvetiser is £69.99 if you’re a member of the VIP club (free to join). Best price it’s been this year. TCB and Quidco say velvetiser is excluded from cash back though.

I bought the velvetiser recently through top cash back and have £5 pending from them so may not actually cash out but worth buying through them just in case. Just annoyed I paid £75 when I could have got it for £69.99 though 😂

@Soscrewed and anyone considering buying any Meta Portal version:

Just a head's up, the various Portals are all available direct from Meta shop, with what looks to be free delivery, and their New Regular Prices seem to beat Amazon on some models. The one you have suggested is at £39 Meta Shop

mini footballs you can colour in down to £5.50 with free delivery, thought they seemed a nice little gift!

My cheese and wine tasting kit has been in my sorting office since Saturday. Postman didn't knock loudly at all (we were all home!) and when I went to collect yesterday at 12.20, the sorting office closed at 12.

I know I didn't pay a lot but I've really been looking forward to my cheese and wine after a tough week so I'll be annoyed (with Royal Mail) if it's ruined 😒

Ewock · 15/11/2022 11:03

Thanks for the Hot Diamonds codes, I've just bought a lovely pair of rose gold earrings for £15. They were discounted already then took the 40% off and free delivery. Amazing

WhyDoesItAlways · 15/11/2022 11:08

@redjoker I'm the same with black Friday, don't want to buy anything even if on offer just in case....

I bought this heated from John Lewis two years ago and really like it, but not sure when/if it will be back in stock

Yesterday I bought two of these Silentnight heated throws for £30 from my local ASDA as they seemed like a good price for gifts

Thank you

those in the Tesco crash. Is this just queues for Christmas delivery via those with a delivery pass. I read their usual slots weren’t until later in the month?

@Icantfindanewname if you're still looking at flowers, how about www.bloomon.co.uk ?

Their flowers are beautiful, they have great customer service and they have 15% off code at the moment: SUC7F

Wow! How have oi not seen these before. Are they as good as they look online?I mean they do seem a upper cost but wow.

Gilead · 15/11/2022 11:19

Has anyone got a Smart Sketcher? My son really wants one after seeing it on an advert but it seems like a lot of money to pay if it’s going to be rubbish.

Yes it was barely used by my dd

Yes today is Tesco Christmas shopping booking slots for delivery pass holders so whilst they are all now sold out there should be more released for general sale

it’s Peter Kay all over again 😂

I didn’t manage to get a slot but I quite like taking myself off at 5 in the morning day before Christmas Eve doing the grocery shop and then rewarding myself with breakfast at the local farm shop

Thanks! This will make a nice extra stocking filler.

For anyone else buying, the SAVE10 discount code you get on signing up doesn’t work on this item, so don’t bother signing up for this alone!

BadgerLovesMash · 15/11/2022 11:46

Has anyone got a code for build a bear please? In need of a couple of Axolotls and baby ones! Can't spend £60 on 4 naked teddies!!!

IHeartKingThistle · 15/11/2022 12:10

Sorry for more oodie talk but what brands of hooded blankets are good please that aren't oodies? Don't want to do the £5 thing I don't think. For 9 year old niece.

IHeartKingThistle · 15/11/2022 12:17

By which I mean, are cheaper than oodies or kuddlies!

hiredandsqueak · 15/11/2022 12:19

Next and Dunelm both have nice quality children's hooded blankets. Dd has had hers from Dunelm for a year, it's been washed numerous times and is still as soft as it was when I bought it.

IHeartKingThistle · 15/11/2022 12:22

Awesome, thank you!

IHeartKingThistle · 15/11/2022 12:23

I think she wants really oversized - what's the sizing like on the Dunelm one please? She wants to be like my teenage DD bless her Grin

They’re everywhere this year - have a look in primark if you have a local one as well, they’ve got so many designs.

hiredandsqueak · 15/11/2022 12:27

I bought dd the adult size one as she was 18 (usually fits size 12 to 13 clothes) despite her being just 4 feet ten, it's big and comfy but doesn't seem too bulky or too long so doesn't trip her up.

Pawport · 15/11/2022 12:34

@BadgerLovesMash I don’t know about a code but if you can get in store they always ask if you’d like to buy a £10 gift card for £5 when you make a purchase.. if buying multiple items I buy one at a time and get the gift card each time to use on the following item. Usually get someone to come along with me and buy the next item so I don’t look like a weirdo 😂
