Looks like we need another thread so here goes. I'll stick the usual top of thread messages in a follow on post.

@MoveMore Its so hit and miss im afraid, I tend to trawl two pages, 'vouchers' and 'today's deals'. You often find bestsellers helpful, for example that dots set was in the craft bestsellers, I then click on and see if it has a sneaky hidden price.

Maybe theres an easier way but I havent found it yet, its a bit hit and miss sorry (it deffo helps if you know what you want but I never do lol)

There's a class action lawsuit against them ongoing for this sort of thing at the moment, worth a couple of billion. Apparently they've been hiding the best prices for years.

Any ideas for a two year old boy who lives dinosaurs please?

I'd buy a box of second hand ones for the garden, mine loves Dino safari. We put him in the wheelbarrow and wheel him around spotting them. If it's not your child or you don't fancy second hand, the squishaboos or squishmallows have been very popular (cheapest on the entertainer) and there are a few Dino ones or maybe a Harry and the dinosaurs book?

I've seen a couple people post codes for the Lego online store. Anyone know how you get these? Is there somewhere we can sign up? Looking to spend about £70/75 so a discount would be great! 🙏

Needsomethingtoread · 10/11/2022 17:21

I spend far too much when I come on this thread 😂

livingthegoodlife · 10/11/2022 17:32

@Diddydog looking for crafty ponies? Have you seen the Le Mieux ones? I bought a full set from Equiflairsaddlery linky Here
I picked the slightly reduced ones, use discount code equi10 for 10% off then if buying lots split it into 2 orders to use loyalty points earned on first order. Hope that makes sense! Free delivery.

@namechange0998776554432 Does he like vestibular stimulation? Our DS had a Whizzy Dizzy which was amazing for emotional regulation. They are expensive unfortunately.

A cheaper option could be a teeter popper or an X Rocker chair (Argos have the Mario ones half price) or a bean bag.

I would go for some plastic dinosaurs, can always have more!

Or there's an orchard toys game, I think its called dotty dinos.

The dinosaur who pooped series of books were well loved at that age.

A dinosaur dressing up? My dd has one that looks like you are riding the dinosaur I think it was from b&m or similar. Or a onesie.

Dinosaur lunch box or drinks bottle, tshirt or jumper. Mine loved having their favourite characters or animals on everything!

Great suggestions, I will definitely look at these. I could use his DLA so the cost is not so much of an issue, but we are very limited on space. He's quite big, in age 8 clothes - would the whizzy dizzy be too small do you think?

Otter oodies are sold out now.

Irritatedmum · 10/11/2022 18:23

Are Candy Kittens nice, worth the money for the hamper? We’ve never had them.

DeeofDenmark · 10/11/2022 18:24

The candy kittens 50% off works on the small bags too, I had to add 4 x £3 bags to the hamper to get over the minimum for free postage.

mossgreen · 10/11/2022 18:26

Amazon have this which is similar to a whizzy dizzy but a fraction of the price. I haven't read reviews though.

@namechange0998776554432 yes second @Idilliedanddallied regarding the peanut ball and rebounder. Peanut ball I bought from decathlon for less than a tenner and he uses it every day! Rebounder I picked up a bargain one from ebay and again this has worked so well in regulating him.
I've also been looking at a scooter board as he lies on one of these at school and uses his legs to push him along, his one to one actually recommended a trolley from b&q, I think they're called dollies?
