Looks like we need another thread so here goes. I'll stick the usual top of thread messages in a follow on post.

Ok so bit of a stretch but MN hotels are doing a Barcelona discount today and tomorrow of 30%. Good until March 31st. So if anyone was thinking of a winter getaway as a present it’s a bit of a bargain.
The very lovely Hotel 1898 had an a great indoor pool as well as one on the stunning terrace. With breakfast ( which is one of the best anywhere so much choice, normally €24 a day) its less than £130 a night. There’s cheaper hotels in their brand but indoor pool and spa facilities are ideal for winter.
Easy jet we’re £40 out and £20 return over a weekend in January too.

That candy kittens is a great deal my dds love them unfortunately they don’t deliver to ROI 😢

TheBigFish · 10/11/2022 18:55

Just picked up my M&S Apothecary Wellness Basket. Looks and smells lovely. And a great deal for the offer price.

@@namechange0998776554432 As long as you have the space for the Whizzy Dizzy itself, size isn't really an issue - we bought ours when DS was 8, and he used it until around 10, when he switched to a trampoline instead (bouncing and spinning are the only things we've found that help avoid meltdowns) If you have the space they can put their legs straight out in front of them, so size isn't an issue, but if your short on space they can sit cross-legged which my DS actually preferred!

This is my DS using it age 8 - he was underweight, but average height.

@LemonFrosting thank you for the b&q trolley idea! We had been thinking of something like a skateboard for him to lie on and push himself along but couldn't think of something big enough.

Great, thank you - I'll think about whether we can fit it in the house or if I keep it mind for the spring when he could it outdoors too

There's an offer on My Vodafone for 30% off a Toniebox if anyone is looking for a deal. I can download the code - PM me if you can use it

BendyBusBuggy · 10/11/2022 19:21

For the candy kittens... Someone posted a few threads up about personalised Amazon offers. I had one for £5 credit if I use Amazon pay. 50%off bundles and £5 credit for my next Amazon order. Bargain!

I did that too so very happy with that offer.

RJnomore1 · 10/11/2022 19:24

I’ve had VERY odd email about that candy kittens sophie code, be careful…

I thought that when it came through. I actually ignored the offer as I thought the email was spam.

Are Candy Kittens nice, worth the money for the hamper? We’ve never had them.

Worth trying a bag first before buying large amounts/offers etc. I personally think they're horrible. My DP thinks they're ok but nothing special.

Queeniewag · 10/11/2022 19:41

@Idilliedanddallied Smyths also sell something called a spinner shark which I've been looking at. It was on offer last week but has gone back up in price.

Hello! I love these threads so much - they get me into the festive spirit! Thanks so much for running them, Reastie.

Can anyone advise me about Kindles? I have a super old one which is giving up the ghost, and wondered if it was worth asking for a new one for Christmas. Is the Paperwhite worth it? Is it likely to be reduced for Black Friday?

@AlbertCampion, not sure if anyone has already replied about Kindle trade in. I can't work out how to cut the URL from the Amazon app but if you search for 'kindle trade in' you'll see you can return your old kindle and receive 20% off and up to £20 voucher towards a new one.

You don't have to be without your kindle as they send you the voucher and discount on trust and just ask you to post your old kindle within 7 days.

IMO the Kindle Paperwhite will be discounted for Black Friday. I got an upgrade earlier this year and the 20% and £20 voucher off a new one stacked with the discounted price. It was an absolute steal Smile

redjoker · 10/11/2022 19:44

Should I not use the candy kittens one then?!

Dogmatix34 · 10/11/2022 19:45

I had that odd email too! I immediately deleted it and it was only when I read about the code I realised what it was. I presume it was a marketing idea to make us think “Jamie” had accidentally revealed a secret code meant for “Sophie”. Quite clever I suppose. Great bargain anyway!

hiredandsqueak · 10/11/2022 19:48

This Playmobil tractor is £15 so half price on Studio. Code 015 gets 25% off your order and free postage if you open a credit account. I've ordered and will pay in full when I receive it.

slithytoveisascientist · 10/11/2022 19:54

@Scrambledbeans does the oodie still have the blue label next to the pocket?

redjoker · 10/11/2022 19:54

Candy kittens one went live on a Facebook bargain group and now the websites crashed lol

LunaCrystal · 10/11/2022 19:54

This was the Candy Kittens email. Very strange and I deleted it straight away. Then I came on here and saw that so many people have ordered so being a sheep I did also 😂

Has anyone used coolkits4u website for football kits? They are fakes so obviously cheaper but I can't find it on trustpilot!

I've used this one 3 times now and really pleased although they take a few weeks to come. footballsbest4u.com/
