I can’t stop giggling at the Home Bargain Grinch Butt Plug 😂

NormalForNuneaton · 28/10/2022 08:24

I've just seen an ad for these earrings on Amazon.

I've not bought them but reviews look good and they're only £15.59 for 20 pairs !!

Great if you've got a few people to buy and could split them

all topcashback users (and if you’re not one you should be!) note that you will get £2 cashback today on a £5 spend when shopping via TCB, but make sure you go into your account and activate the offer before shopping.

if anyone isn’t already shopping with topcashback, today is the best day to sign up to make some easy money.

Use a referral link from the bargains board to register, then activate the above offer. The £10 referral bonus is paid when you spend £10 but you can buy a gift voucher for somewhere you will shop anyway.

so the best thing to do is get referred, activate the offer, buy a £10 gift voucher for the shop of your choice.

This should get you £10 for the referral (and £10+ spend), £2 for the £5+ spend, the cashback you’d ordinarily get on the purchase of the gift voucher anyway (can’t remember the % offhand) and you still have a £10 voucher to spend - simples!

My own referral link is on the penultimate page of the bargains and referrals page if anyone cares to use it 😃

I can’t see how to activate the offer. Please can you point me in the right direction, I’m new to TCB!

Hearst magazines are having a payday weekend with some mags down to £9.99 for 6 months. There's currently £6.30 back on TCB for Prima and Country Living and £4.20 for all other sign ups. Lovely free gifts with Good Housekeeping at £19.99. I did this last year and did get the full cash back . Nice adult stocking filler.

Do you have a link please to the payday weekend prices @recklessgran ? I’ve looked on the website and can’t find the lower prices. Thank you.

AlabamaWorley22 · 28/10/2022 08:47

@ScarlettDarling on the home page under the search bar there should be some rotating offers and one of them was a green box with this offer. I think you just click on it then it takes you to another page where there is a button to activate. Hope that helps

I’m annoyed with Vans, after receiving my order confirmation email Weds afternoon I hadn’t had any other emails from them but saw others saying theirs was out for delivery so went to their website to track my order and it says my order has been cancelled. Why don’t they have systems to email customers if they are cancelling their orders? I’ve no issue if they have now run out of stock or had to make the decision not to honour the discount but I ordered really early and if they decided to cancel they should at least email me, for those of you who have also had cancelled orders did you get emails or did you look up the status of your order for yourself? The money is still showing as pending from my account so they haven’t yet cancelled or refunded the payment. I may reorder with the 30% off if they return my money quickly enough (& the 3 pairs I ordered do seem in stock to buy in the sizes I need), but I wouldn’t have necessarily known to need to do that.

snowmanshoes · 28/10/2022 08:57

BOO20 gives 20% off accessorize all weekend for everything.
Although there is an * after everything on my email so I’m sure there are a few things not included. I went on their website and randomly added a selection of items and the code did work on everything I added ( all full price items though)

snowmanshoes · 28/10/2022 08:59

SPOOKY5 gives £5 off a £30 order at falseeyelashes.co.uk (never used them)
SPOOKY10 for £10 off a £50 order

recklessgran · 28/10/2022 09:07

@LazyDaisy22 and anyone else trying to access the Hearst offers my apologies. Upon further investigation it seems that the special magazine subscription rates were for e-mail subscibers so it might be worth signing up for that. I've linked here so hopefully you can use it too. magazines

Just noticed on the ASOS site that Converse are 'excluded from all discount codes'. Angry

La Redoute have generic offers really frequently. I used a 20% code on a pair of converse last month with them so keep an eye on their discounts

QOD · 28/10/2022 01:37

I cannot get the £5 off £15 Amazon spend to work grrrrr

Did you opt in? If so, it doesn’t show up until you get to the payment page, it’s at the top of my list of credit cards as ‘use your £5 promotional credit’ with a tick box.

I opted in straight away but haven’t used yet so if you opted in it should still be there.

polmnlj · 28/10/2022 09:25

@recklessgran Thank you, will give it a try!

torthecatlady · 28/10/2022 09:36

@AlabamaWorley22 Thanks for the heads up on the bonus cashback on a £5 spend.

DaffodilsInAJamjar · 28/10/2022 09:44

If you're looking to get the TopCashback bonus without a big spend, M&CO have free delivery today plus they give 6% TopCashback.

Free delivery works on the sale items too- I just placed an order that was all sale stuff.

There's also 25% off their full price stock at the moment. They have the family Christmas pj's so would be a good reduction if you're buying a few pairs, when you add in the tcb and the tcb bonus as well.

Slater22 · 28/10/2022 09:46

Looking for a beauty advent calendar for a teen and one for a LEGO/Minecraft/Dinosaur/super hero obsessed younger brother - any suggestions please??

doctorboo · 28/10/2022 09:54

I’m kicking myself that I dithered re: sizing with the vans so didn’t order any. I read every post and was still 🤔 about it.

If I’d actually used my brain the bit that’s left after dealing with my unruly children and cold filled husband this week I would’ve order two sizes! Maybe I should see what’s available…or do I wait to see if there’s a black fri deal?

snowmanshoes · 28/10/2022 10:08

@Slater22

How much you looking to spend?
The PLT is good value at £45 (£141 worth) and variety wise pretty decent too - selling out though so would be quick if you’re going for that.My teen was happy with it last year.
There is a real techniques makeup brush/sponge one on Superdrug £30 (reduced from £80 but not sure I’d pay £80) however for £30 looks good too.

Soscrewed · 28/10/2022 10:14

Typo seem to have a sale on "up to 70%". Too old really for my children, buy I know people here have liked teen gifts from.them in the past.

Accessorize 20% off with code BOO20

ilisten2theradio · 28/10/2022 10:18

Also Lands End have up to 72% off coats and shoes using R9XZ. I havent clicked through to see which styles are on sale but I do have a very unfashionable warm waterproof coat from there i got in the sale a couple of years ago called a squall coat which was great for me.

tootsnwoocake · 28/10/2022 10:33

Would anyone possibly have a JD student code please? I have a teen boy to buy for and the JD website is the only place that has the hoodie he is looking for. It's v pricy so anything would help. Thanks!

LateNightTalking · 28/10/2022 10:39

I can get you a 10% off at JD code if you message me.

Not sure if the student codes take more off though!
