Every year I get a couple of t-shirts for my teens, and sometimes something else like a poster or fleece blanket for them.

It’s great to be able to just type in their niche interest and then browse through to something related but a bit more unique that might interest them. e.g. for DH I bought a T-shirt with the original 1958 Lego blueprints on (because I said I wouldn’t get him any more Lego this year!)

Ordered from Vans last night with both codes stacked (after many hours of trying to get through the site maintenance issues) - confirmation email straight away and I’ve just had a shipped email. Didn’t order much though - a pair of toddler trainers and some clothes for my nephew.

A nice 1000 disney puzzle for £6 on amazon- an orchestra scene here sadly I've now bought so many Disney puzzles for one relative that I may need to find something else to mix it up a bit.

Now I’m being tempted by a Vans order for me (I only thought to order for the kids yesterday). What’s the womenswear clothing sizing like? I am not a dainty person! I see they have some plus size models.

iv heard back from Superdrug now about my skincare kits that had leaked in 2 out of 3 of them.
They have gave me a full refund for all boxes as they don’t have anymore in stock to send. They have also gave me £5 in beauty points.

Pretty pleased as I will keep 2 boxes worth of stuff for myself now😂 and give one as a gift.

I don’t need anymore skincare stuff for the rest of the year thanks to this thread!😂

Ds3 has Vans on his Christmas list. The site keeps crashing. I got to “payment” the last time and it’s crashed again. It sounds as if some people have had success so I’d better keep trying.

I was in Hobbycraft today spending my £5 voucher and saw these plushy octopuses. They looked pretty good for £8 and with the CLUB10 voucher would be £3.

Vans codes not working for me. Which is fine, as I don't need trainers anyway.

The Vans code was showing as working for me before the site crashed. It’s now saying “not available at this time”. 😢

When we make up hampers I don't bother with a basket. I either use a jute bag such as the Seasalt ones we get on here every year or I use a cardboard box but cover it in Christmas paper. That option is cheap as chips and can go in the recycling bin afterwards.

Qwertee are currently doing free delivery with two t shirts and free stickers with three or more, the postage usually adds quite a bit on.

Think the cheapest is currently £6 but lots of funny designs for hard to buy for people. I’ve bought a couple before and was surprised at the quality for the price.

I’ve linked on the referral board which I think gets an extra shirt free but the site is pretty vague!

@LuckyLuckyWoman my DD really likes playing with the leapfrog purrfect cat handbag. Seems quite expensive at the moment but sure it went down closer to £15 last year.

I also got her one of those toy gardening sets with the bag and she loves filling that up!

@UserNameNameNameUser , the Vans size guide is hard to find. I managed somehow yesterday, and I think Women’s XL was 16 or even 14. No bigger.

When you go to “sort by” in Women’s they offer an XXL, but nothing I was looking for came in that size.

I shall be cross with myself if the XL is 20+ as there were some parkas I liked the look of in that size, but I didn’t make an order as I thought they would be too small for me.

I've been ill and missed the ENTIRE Vans excitement. I've clearly missed it as not accepting any codes at all now. I had 3 pairs of shoes, 2 hoodies and 2 tshirts for 2 teen DS. Would have been SO perfect (I'm weeping over the Stranger Things boots- DS2 would have adored them, but at £110 full price it's not happening!). Sad now.
