Can anyone help please? Request for Boom City Racer ‘Cop That’ police car!

My 7 year old son has said that the thing that he really wants for Christmas this year is the Boom City Racer ‘Cop That’ (police car with lights and sounds).

He has collected these cars over the past year but hasn’t been lucky enough to find this one; for those not familiar with them they are blind toys so you can’t see what you’re getting. So he’s hopeful that Santa will be able to get one for him! 😩

I’ve checked second hand selling sites, and there aren’t any on those; there are very few listings for Boom City Racers in general as they don’t seem to be very popular now.

I’ve managed to track down a packaging code which shows that this car is inside, however The Entertainer is the only shop around here to still stock them and the store near us doesn’t have one with this code.

I contacted the manufacturer and they were lovely and sent out a starter pack with a different car, however the same car is in all of these packs and they said they don’t have any other packs.

Does anyone happen to have a spare Cop That that’s been outgrown?

I know this is a real long shot but I’d love to find one for him as he’s a massive fan of Boom City Racers and this would make his Christmas 🎅

It’s not Cop That but it’s another one that my DS doesn’t have and it looks pretty cool so I reckon he’ll love it.

Is it only the one with the red tops? I've found one with a yellow top ending 820

I bought it, if it's the wrong one I'll put it in a charity present collection somewhere. I'm also going to the other town nearby with a bigger entertainer tomorrow, so I'll look there too.

I’m not sure to be honest…I’ve only seen it in videos with the red ones so I’m not sure if it’s in that series (is it series 2?). I’ll do a little research and come back.

Right, so yellow top does mean series 2, which doesn’t have Cop That. However the series does have a different limited addition flashing lights and sounds car - see attached screenshot I found - which I don’t think my DS even knows about so it would still be pretty amazing if it contained that. And 820 seems to be the lucky number so it’s got to be worth a go?

I just looked through his box and he only has collectors guides for series 1. Some of the series 1 2-packs do contain it apparently but I’ve not been able to find a code for those as I’ve only seen it come out of the single packs in videos.

I tried posting on a very large Facebook family group where I have seen similar posts have success in the past but they haven’t accepted my post 😢

I can’t believe there’s no sign of one anywhere - do you think any were actually sent out for the public to find?! The only evidence I’ve seen of them is on videos of youtubers being sent them (who probably weren’t collectors themselves 😢)

I know it's a total long shot, but have you tried contacting the youtubers? They might reply and send you one. Is it possible that they were only released in the US?

Do you know what - I haven’t actually! I’m not very good with YouTube (I only ever view videos) but I will try to work out how to do that.

They’re being advertised on the collectors leaflets here so they should really be in the UK too. In theory.

I don’t think it’s in a pack with any of those codes, I think 820 at the end is the key (think!)l But thank you so much for checking 🙂

I’m tempted to contact the manufacturer again though because the codes are different again to those on the YouTube list so it’s hard to work out and someone there must know the codes.

Though I wonder if the A at the end of one is a special sign!

I’ve had another look on YouTube and comments are turned off and I can’t see a way to message. Videos are from a couple of years ago too so it’s probably unlikely they’d still have toys from then.
