Can anyone help please? Request for Boom City Racer ‘Cop That’ police car!

My 7 year old son has said that the thing that he really wants for Christmas this year is the Boom City Racer ‘Cop That’ (police car with lights and sounds).

He has collected these cars over the past year but hasn’t been lucky enough to find this one; for those not familiar with them they are blind toys so you can’t see what you’re getting. So he’s hopeful that Santa will be able to get one for him! 😩

I’ve checked second hand selling sites, and there aren’t any on those; there are very few listings for Boom City Racers in general as they don’t seem to be very popular now.

I’ve managed to track down a packaging code which shows that this car is inside, however The Entertainer is the only shop around here to still stock them and the store near us doesn’t have one with this code.

I contacted the manufacturer and they were lovely and sent out a starter pack with a different car, however the same car is in all of these packs and they said they don’t have any other packs.

Does anyone happen to have a spare Cop That that’s been outgrown?

I know this is a real long shot but I’d love to find one for him as he’s a massive fan of Boom City Racers and this would make his Christmas 🎅

What a pain. Surprise toys are ok but not when you have half the collection.

Codes seem to be different in the UK then!

Thanks to MaraudingMother I now know that LK3223520 is not the code I’m after! 💐

The start of the code is different to the list I found on YouTube but the last three digits match the list for the car that’s inside.

Therefore I think I definitely need to stick to codes ending 820 (but not LK2130820, LK0174820 or LK0274820).

So I’m still on the lookout if anyone spots a different code ending in 820, or has one unwanted at home. Thank you 🙂

I'm massively invested in this and really hope you find it. There was one red one in my local Entertainer today, I didn't buy it but I took a photo of the code (as I couldn't get on to Mumsnet to check) and can go back and get it sometime next week if you think it's worth it? I could always get it, open it and give it to my DS if it's a duplicate?

It ends in 820 and isn’t on the list of 820 codes that don’t have it so it has to be worth a shot.

@impossiblerequest It's like Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket! I'm probably not going to be able to go back and get it til Mon or Tues though I'm afraid (The Entertainer is closed on a Sun). Obviously if it is Cop That I'll send it in the fastest delivery service available. Oh god I'm so nervous now!

@impossiblerequest I've just dashed back from the Entertainer and opened it and it's not Cop That. Gutted, am so sorry. It looks like it's 'Bonebreaka!' - do you want me to send it to you anyway? Otherwise my DS will probably love it!
