Thanks @Sisisimone hadn't seen the extra code. Ordered and very happy with that price indeed. And now I can use the bargain Spicery curry kit I had earmarked for the degusta recipient for someone else who will also like it so 2 presents ticked off.

Maiyakat · 12/10/2022 11:52

@HorsesForPorches used the 20% code, thank you 😊

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 12/10/2022 11:56

I’ve just done an order with footballs best 4u, ordered last year and it took absolutely ages to come so have made sure there’s plenty of time this year.

Got 5 mens football shirts for DS for £125. The ones I bought last year were spot on!

MummyGummy · 12/10/2022 12:00

M&S Beauty Advent Calendar is being released on the 27th October. I was waiting to order some xmas presents so I could get the box for myself, I think it was £40 if you spend £30 on other items last year.

buckeejit · 12/10/2022 12:01

Those who got the degustabox advent calendar last year, was it good? Thinking of buying and giving to foodie friends as an early Christmas present. Groupon have it for £36ish now, anyone seen any better deal?

Was great fun, some things we wouldn't have got independently, but found a few, new favourites.
The voucher code below is about the best I think you'll find, however also worth going direct but via Top cashback, as they usually have a fairly generous cashback.

Thanks whoever posted about Claires 50% off plush, been given a request for a koala and a dog plush for girl next door's birthday tomorrow and picked up lovely ones for £4 each.

Sisisimone · 12/10/2022 11:19

I've just bought on groupon. There's a code on there that takes it to £29.56 with free delivery. My friend has an early Dec birthday so thought it would be something a bit different for her. Posters on previous threads have said they enjoyed them.

Oooh, what was the code, please? I can't find it on the website

Magn · 12/10/2022 13:31

@Yeknom how about a superhero costume from tu in the 20% off sale? Should be around the £10 mark

chickenmashandgravy · 12/10/2022 13:34

Any suggestions on where i could get a decent sized Olive tree for a November birthday? I don’t want to spend more than £25 ideally. M&S have them for around that price but stores near me don’t stock them and delivered they are £35. One Click Plants seem a reasonable price but has anyone used them or can you recommend anywhere? Thank you 😊

Bed123 · 12/10/2022 13:43

Does anyone remember what the discount was on the tonie boxes last year? Getting my daughter one for Christmas but trying to decide whether to buy one now from Amazon or wait and see closer to Christmas?

Sallylovesdaisy · 12/10/2022 13:44

Just spotted the Galaxy/Maltesers hot choc station in B & M. Slightly smaller box this year, I think the contents are the same as last year, same price too £4.99

I'm frustrated with whsmith. My credit card is showing the reduced amounts leaving the account.
I then had an email to say my items were out of stock and would be sent, now just had an email to say its cancelled.
They have no redeeming features at the moment, the website is horrendous to use and it struggled to allow me to pay when submitting the orders.

I just can't understand why a 20% discount is such an issue.

I'm frustrated too. One of the books I ordered is now with the Royal Mail so presumably it slipped through the net. The other books + Christmas wrapping paper have been cancelled as not dispatched. So they've sent an email telling me what they've cancelled, but this email doesn't include the items I had on pre-order.... the ones which haven't been released yet.

Do I go elsewhere and risk getting two copies of those books?

I cannot be bothered to sort out with customer service as I'm so cross with WHSmith for being so totally crap on this blunder.

Oooh, what was the code, please? I can't find it on the website

Code is RELAX 😊

Brogues · 12/10/2022 13:59

Cheers for the bargain Degusta - I’d been tempted by the original offer but under £30 is better :)

smootholive · 12/10/2022 14:28

@Bed123 it was 35% and I think it came up in November. I think it was for the basic starter set.
I thought the same but didn’t want to risk it with the way postage is this year with all the strikes.

Vebrithien · 12/10/2022 14:32

Sisisimone · 12/10/2022 13:56

Code is RELAX 😊

And I have now!! (Relaxed, that is 😂)

Strangely, when I looked first, the RELAX code was only offering 5% off, but when I tried again, it took the calendar down to under £30.

DH will be thrilled and bemused, in equal parts again, this year.

Evza · 12/10/2022 14:40

If anyone's looking for squishmallows, my local Tesco had the large ones for £11.50 this afternoon at half price on a clubcard deal.

TheBigFish · 12/10/2022 14:40

Ooh just checked again and my degusta cost £25.87 via Groupon. I think as I hadn't used Groupon for ages. It came up when I logged in, code was something like 'we missed you'. Thanks to all those who replied recommending the calendar too, I am excited to gift it.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 12/10/2022 10:24

Very puzzling email from WH Smith telling me that some of the items I ordered are out of stock and will be dispatched later. Having told me yesterday my order was cancelled

what a mess they’ve got themselves into

Their customer service is shocking!

TheresNoTelescreen · 12/10/2022 14:52

Leapfrog magic adventures globe good bargain on Amazon for prime
