Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

One for teens maybe or anyone who is a size 6!
boohoo have got red tartan leggings size 6 reduced to £2.50 and basic red and black T-shirts for £3 in size small. Thought it would be great as a loungewear or even pj set!
Code MYSTERY gives an extra discount (I just used it and got an extra 10% off)

Carrie76 · 05/10/2022 20:49

Sweaty Betty have their power collection on sale, some really good prices on it

Carrie76 · 05/10/2022 21:08

@DangerousMouse i have a code for 20% off Fitbit’s. I’m in Ireland though so not sure if it’s country specific

sycamorescrumptious · 05/10/2022 22:04

Quite possible everyone already knows this, but I just found out that even if you've had prime membership before they offer you a free month every year or so - worth checking your online account as very useful this time of year!

Also not particularly bargainous, but amazing have the muddles card game at £9.99 which is great fun for kids 6+ (and immature adults too!)

LunaCrystal · 05/10/2022 22:06

PoundToy 25% off Disney. Code is FALL25

The Father Christmas Dunelm hoodie is back in. I didn't manage to get one in time last year.

TheGriffle · 05/10/2022 22:13

Can anyone remember where the bargainous Christmas dinner boxes came from last year please? I was impressed with mine last year and was hoping for something similar again!

If you’re a fan of Elemis Cleansing Balm, this beauty box type set is a brilliant buy (one off fee of £20 - no subscription).

www.thebridalbeautycompany.com/products/the-essential-cleanse-kit-summer-edition

It includes the full size balm, a full size Gatineau moisturiser and a few other bits for only £20. The cleansing balm itself is worth about £26-28 and the moisturiser is apparently worth £49. I bought this last month for the cleansing balm and considered everything else a bonus.

I’ve now repurchased as I love the moisturiser and this is a great price to stock up on both the cleansing balm and the moisturiser.

Even better - use the code ‘freeshipping’ (this week only) and you’ll get free delivery.

Crazydogmumma · 05/10/2022 22:23

Thank you @AlabamaWorley22 - just treated myself- love the Elemis balm
and excited to try the moisturiser- what a great price! -

AlabamaWorley22 · 05/10/2022 22:33

@Crazydogmumma glad to help! The moisturiser is a bit different to what I’d normally use. It’s very light and described as ‘gel-like’ but I am really liking it and happy to get another one. It’s also quite a big tube compared with other moisturisers I’ve been using for the last couple of years so will last a while and seems great value to me.

Pure Luxuries outlet have a number of real leather bags for between £29-£39 currently. I have one and it’s very nice quality, well finished - they do all seem to be rather lacking in inner pockets though judging by the descriptions. There are various other accessories in the outlet section as well.

We have scrapped the idea of getting a yoto (£80)this year.... Amazon have reduced their kids Echo to £25 including 1 year Amazon Kids + subscription (usually £45+ a ýear on its own). So access to Audible. Will act as an alarm clock. Help us with weather (independent getting ready to go out). Thought I would share here incase its of help to anyone else.

TheGriffle · 06/10/2022 07:30

This is a brilliant gem of a site. I've also purchased this box from them - www.thebridalbeautycompany.com/collections/the-skincare-series/products/the-illuminating-skin-kit

  • also only £20, includes QMS serum worth £78.

For fitbits, have you got any Nectar points? There’s a really good offer on there apparently. I think it works out at £15 for a kids Fitbit that way. Don’t quote me on that, it’s what my husband told me!

You can also use Tesco Clubcard points. I noticed it on the app the other day and was kicking myself as I had to buy myself a new FitBit when my old one died recently

AlabamaWorley22 · 06/10/2022 07:45

@LayTheTableMabel thanks- we already have echoes but I’m curious about the audible books available for free on the kids’ echo. I wonder if it’s just the books which come free on audible anyway (limited) or if there are more? I’m currently using my audible credits buying Harry Potter and other audio books for my kids and am now wondering if a new kids echo might be cheaper….

Does anyone know?
