It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Just wanted to say the squishmallow thingy keyrings from Aldi have just been delivered and they're so much bigger and lovelier than I was expecting, my kids will be thrilled. So thank you to whoever recommended them!

Can anyone recommend a reusable mug that’s suitable to use when drinking in at a cafe? Not one that looks like a takeaway cup if you see what I mean, but something that would be more like a real mug to drink from? I hope that makes sense 😂

@Irritatedmum YETI travel mugs are £££ but DH has found it to be indestructible and he has broken many a travel cup/mug.
I bet this lot could find you a bargain!

Looking for lego 41704 main street building. Absolutely kicking myself that I missed it at costco for £89. If anyone knows of any stackable deals elsewhere? ideally it needs to be under £100. John lewis has it at the highest price at £140 so sadly even with their loyalty card discount it is still £110

@Sheknowtheyrhinestones
Replying without reading to the end of the thread, sorry if it's already been mentioned. I just googled to see which one it was and it came up with this £86 offer at ASDA at the moment:

My ASOS bargains have just been delivered - such a good deal!

Holeymoleymacaroni · 12/09/2022 14:25

Don't forget Flying Tiger for stocking fillers! I found some great, very cheap things in there yesterday for my son's stocking. They also have a website now.

Got my Turtle Doves from eBay. One small one large. Dd has tiny hands so that’s great. They are the colours I would have chosen and I cannot find the fault on the sticker Ed one. Oh, no sharpie marks either.
Thank you to the poster who suggested these.

Anyone who has ordered wallets from fossil outlet can you advise how they come packed please. Are they boxed or just as they are?

Sheknowtheyrhinestones · 12/09/2022 14:56

ChangedToday · 12/09/2022 13:46

That is it! I ordered through iwoot! They haven't taken payment nor processed, I wonder if I can cancel the order? I get this every year where I try to be prepared and order early etc and then there's always a hassle and every year I say I will wait till December for Christmas shopping, I never learn

BalanceNotSymmetry · 12/09/2022 15:50

Bit of a random one but don’t suppose anybody knows anywhere that stocks cheese from the Cheshire Cheese Company near South Staffordshire do they? Wanted to get the El Gringo one for my dad for his birthday later this week but delivery online is £4.95, which is the same price as the cheese!

Hi, kleen kanteen have some good mugs, I think they are described as camping mugs but would be fine, they also have lids if I'm not mistaken although can be used as a normal mug. ( Babipur sell them)

I can verify these are excellent travel mugs that look like normalish mugs. My friend bought me one for my birthday to use in our caravan. It is excellent but I did have to buy my husband one for Father’s Day as he was so jealous every time I used it. 😂😂

Insulated mug

Dreamingofwalden · 12/09/2022 16:03

Also, if anyone could use them I just realised I have Lakeland codes that expire today.

I have. They don’t have the one I wanted unfortunately, and if they did it would be £9.95 for one anyway so I may as well order from their website. I’m at work all week so can’t go for a drive and browse around

LunaCrystal · 12/09/2022 16:37

Smiggle have a good sale on, started instore today

RJnomore1 · 12/09/2022 16:49

I’ve given in and placed my Tu order so please don’t tell me there’s 25% off this weekend or something now 🙈

BrainFoggerty · 12/09/2022 17:03

I'm hoping to build an advent calendar for my DD(12).

Saw these on an ad on FB, they're super cute she'd love them but at £8.50 each there's no way I'm getting them. Anyone seen anything similarish at a decent price or have suggestions for other cutesy little bits.

She's got a ton of allergies so chocolate/sweets etc are out. She is into gaming (Roblox & Minecraft) & music, cute kawaii type stuff, definitely not into crafts.

Hotel Chocolat are really pushing the Velvitiser with these offers. The ones which include the Velvetiser end on 18 September, the 2 for one on three flavours of drinking chocolate ends on 30 September. The codes and offers are in the images.

The normal price for the drinking chocolate seems to have gone up recently, though.

The clearance section in my local big branch of Boots had good reductions on shower gel, but I imagine it just depends on their stock. Lynx shower gel was 65p, Champneys was £2. They also had Champneys body lotion for £4 and body butter for £8, which may not be much of a bargain.

SweetPeaPods · 12/09/2022 17:15

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the spicery curry legend pre sale. We have their taco and curry kits and love them and want to get one for SiL Christmas. I'm guessing dates will be ok if they are posted November.

Irritatedmum · 12/09/2022 17:36

Thank you for the velvetiser offers. I’ve got a £5 voucher for my birthday which also gives free delivery so I’ve got 2 packs of the chocolate for £8.50! I’ve always fancied the Black Forest one so I’ll toast to you when I taste it.

Also thanks to the poster for the Tesco stationary bargains, I got 2 smiggle pencil cases for £1.50 each and 2 see through rucksacks full of own brand stationary for £3 each instead of £12, they’ll be put away for next September!

Yeknom · 12/09/2022 17:43

Sainsburys (probably store dependent but worth a check) has dog beer and wine for 65p a bottle. Hair mask sachets for 25p and paddling pools down to £3!

sorryiasked · 12/09/2022 19:04

I posted a week or so ago about the christmastimeuk sale.
I've just received my order of tree decorations which were reduced to 25p each and they're amazing. I'm so pleased with them. I also bought sellotape from them - packs of two full size rolls were something like 40p.
Had to pay postage but really can't complain at that! Even their full price decs look like good value. Photos attached of some of my bargains.

Try AliExpress - you'll need to order now. Type in things like minifigure, kawaii, TikTok, creative, sensory etc and you can find things for under £1

mumonthehill · 12/09/2022 19:27

Also a thanks for the asos link. Ordered crayola makeup, ideal for the teenage girls that I buy for!
