It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

@SSqu1ggle I'm mid 30's and love fashion. I personally would not appreciated a leather as shown below. Myself and my teen DD often share clothes/accessories/shoes/ect.... I would ask your sister for a better idea about what she wants. That why she'll get something she actually wants and will use and you haven't wasted your money

coffeetofunction · 08/09/2022 08:28

@PPumpkintopf I've screen shot those ideas for den making.... Thank you.

BeanyBops · 08/09/2022 08:55

@KindleAndCake thanks for the dunnes link! What's the thickness/quality of these like? I saw some in dunelm and was disappointed in the quality, didn't seem as thick or warm as my tesco own dressing gown!

Also I now have massive fomo from the link and would love to be wandering around sand dunes chatting with friends whilst wearing a super cosy hooded blanket rn.

Roserunner · 08/09/2022 09:30

For anyone wanting an Echo Dot I had an email from amazon today offering them for £21.99 using the promo code ECHODOT it says for prime members only.

KindleAndCake · 08/09/2022 09:33

@BaenyBops they're medium thickness I'd say, they're lovely and cosy. If you scroll down further in my link, you'll see the kids ones too.

Thank you. Actually I know she prefers leather, she just wouldn't have asked for it as they tend to me more expensive. Have now found one that I've sent her a screenshot of and she likes so have ordered that for her.
Thanks so much to everyone that helped on the search 😊

Not much in the way of reduced items at my local M&S, there were a few packs of omballs and valentines percy pigs dated next month, and some caramel and chocolate spreads dated next month which I've bought as a treat for the kids to go on pancakes. They had some tonic water reduced to 44p per bottle, didn't buy so not sure of dates but most likely short dated. Hope other's get lucky!

20% off no7 make up today at Boots, online only unfortunately (the website is a horror) - also 3 for 2 and the deals stack. Just got over £40-worth for £25!

IggyAce · 08/09/2022 14:07

Hot Diamonds Code NETHD30 gets you 30% off full price items and code Jewels gets free delivery, they stack. I got my dd a beautiful necklace last year and it arrives with beautiful gift wrapping.

I just tried this code on an outlet item and it seemed to work there too. Didn't actually check out as shouldn't be spending money on something I don't really need (and I got hot diamonds bargains for everyone last year so can't do the same again this year)

Eggmcmuffin · 08/09/2022 15:03

I've received my first thrift order today! Looks in good condition, a bargain boden dress for work! I placed a second larger order and no sign of that yet but at least they've started getting through them.

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 08/09/2022 16:06

Thank you to whoever mentioned the squishies in Aldi, I've managed to grab a couple of the keyrings for stocking presents.

DessieSaysDiy · 08/09/2022 16:15

Received my espa order.
Gift box was damaged so have to return which is a pain.
Just a heads up if anyone else ordered.
However customer services where prompt at least.
Boo… just wanted another gift off my list.

Willow4987 · 08/09/2022 16:23

@DessieSaysDiy mine was slightly damaged too but as it was a gift for me I’m not fussed luckily

Although heads up that the relaxation oil has clary sage in it. Which I didn’t realise until I had it on and wondered what was in that blend.

had to turn it off as I’m pregnant and apparently not supposed to have it

have ordered myself a Neom scent instead as a treat

DessieSaysDiy · 08/09/2022 16:28

I emailed saying I think the box was damaged pre postage as it was double poly wrapped and outer box wasn’t damaged, but it could just be accidental.
Anyway, another present still to buy as It was a gift!
Hope everyone else’s are ok.
xx

Goldenphoenix · 08/09/2022 16:36

Two more of my thrift orders turned up unexpectedly, am pleased with most of it!

Went to M and S and the red label areas on the shelves were all empty!

B and M/Home Stores had loads of Christmas stuff. I got footpacks decorated with reindeer for the Christmas Eve box for £1 each. My DC love a pamper!

They also had lots of hair/lip/face/foot masks and packs reduced, starting from 59p. I'm going to do a pamper basket with these. They also had a really good size white cloud shape bath fizzer with all the rainbow colours that will come out of it. It was £1.99. Other fun stocking finds were a giant gummy bear and gummy poos! I couldn't see the Cadburys advent bar, but they had unusual flavours like tropical pineapple and rocky road. Felt quite excited and Christmassy shopping today!

@Petal7 not sure if same in all stores but the cadbury advent bar wasn't with all the regular chocolate bars in b&m it was in with the christmas food and drink bits in a separate aisle with the biscuits etc
