DD 10 & 9:
A tv each their rooms - that will be their present.

Then just a stocking:

New iPad case
Long iPad charger
Bath bombs
Sweets
Pyjamas etc

DS14:
He's still trying to get a new PlayStation...on the waitlist at our local gaming store.
So if one comes up he'll get that and then just a little stocking:

Deodorant
Small aftershave
Chocolate
iTunes voucher

If he doesn't then - football shirt, trainers, Hoodie, CK boxers etc.

DDs 5:

Absolutely no idea!

Ours Are 7 & 9. Their main presents are tickets to a sleepover event at a museum, which we had to buy months ago.

ideas for 7 yo include:
Lego HP buildings or Lego trainset
jigsaw
HP Labyrinth
Mr Gum books
Seascope
Camp blanket
clothes for BaB HP bear (he got the bear last Christmas)
Fimo

ideas for 9yo so far:
Dungeons & Dragons starter game
Warhammer starter set
Camera
Game for his Switch
add-ons for Gravitrax set
hockey bag (& 'maybe a new stick if his current one is getting too small)
Beano annual
Ripleys believe it or not book

Eldest has become very interested in Warhammer & D&D over this year, but otherwise, neither really need or want anything big. Both have good bikes and they have scooters etc.

This includes ideas I will pass to other people and they won't get it all.

I have seen several ikea toy kitchens on my local Facebook freebay group in the last week- mostly in great condition, worth a look if you have a local group

My dd10 really wants the our generation ice cream truck which I'm relieved about as before that it was a new iPad which is considerablely more expensive !!

psuedocream3 · 28/08/2022 14:16

DD10

DD4

ThreeRingCircus · 28/08/2022 14:34

So far I've bought:

DD1 age 5

Lego classic bricks
Jurassic World dinosaur figure
Bluey PJs
Squishmallow unicorn

DD2 age 3

Playmobil zoo set
Schleich horse
Peppa Pig PJs
Squishmallow cat

I won't get too much more tbh and planning on the lego and Playmobil to be their bigger present. I'm waiting to see if there's anything else they particularly would want nearer the time and will buy them one or two more things then do their stockings (from Father Christmas.)

Stockings always contain some combination of the following (not necessarily all of these):

Small cuddly toy
Playmobil figure or small schleich figure
Unusual snacks that Father Christmas has picked up on his travels that I buy in the world food aisle. Last year was a Polish chocolate bar and bottle of juice.
Rolled up magazine
Socks
Knickers
Chocolate coins
Toothbrush
Bubble bath or bath bomb
Crayons
Stickers
Hair slides/bobbles etc
Temporary tattoos
Flavoured lip balm

Couple of other things that have cropped up.
Polly Pocket
Unicorn onesie (she saw one in Morrisons and loved it)
Headbands/scrunchies

If you look on FB market place you will
pick one up half price easily. Loads of people sell on our generation. :)

Ratbagcatbag · 28/08/2022 16:38

DD9 wants a new iPad. Hers is now 4 years old and doesn't have the storage needed for the editing of videos and things she loves doing.

she wants the keyboard and pen with it too.

Me and her dad are separated so we will split the cost of that one between us and that's her huge present. She understands there isn't much besides.

she'd love a babyliss hair curler too. My brother will get her that if he can pick it up in the Black Friday sales cheaply enough.

WhenTheDragonsCame · 28/08/2022 22:08

DD12 has just started triathlon club so I have told her I will get her a new bike if she is still going at Christmas.

DD14 I have no idea! She had a phone last year so won't need a new one. She has an Xbox and computer.

Scarecrowrowboat · 28/08/2022 22:17

Already bought xmas presents because I look out for bargains on Vinted but
2yo happyland various bits
5yo lego

CaveMum · 29/08/2022 08:50

@WhenTheDragonsCame for your DD14 are there any bands she likes you could get tickets for, or maybe book a West End Show if she likes that kind of thing?

Rockbird · 29/08/2022 20:33

Girls, 14 and 10.

Both are getting projectors for their rooms, I'm sick to death of fighting over the tv. And both also getting mini fridges.

14yo wants crystals and Ariana Grande perfume.

10yo wants accessories for her bedroom, cushions, blankets etc. She only has 50000 of these so obviously could do with some more Hmm

Both of their birthdays are a fortnight after Christmas so 10yo will be getting AirPods and the 14yo has a trip to Harry Potter with friends.

WhenTheDragonsCame · 29/08/2022 21:09

@CaveMum that's a fab idea, I hadn't thought of that. She loves Russell Howard so that is an option if he is touring next year.

Though she has told me today that she would like a television for her room so she can play Xbox up there!

I love the idea that Santa picks up snacks on his travels! I will definitely be stealing that idea.
