@ClaraLane yes, we are doing secret Santa for the second year for adults. We use Draw Names for this. It matches people, keeps it secret and you can add a Wishlist. We keep it simple with a budget and get people to do a list or note down what they like. It keeps it all secret until after the date you have chosen to exchange gifts.

We got ours, delivery didn't take long so maybe email them.

I got mine. I'd say one was 'full size' and the other two were off cuts. I was happy enough for 'free' but wouldn't order at full price.

m I doubt they’re fake, why cut the labels out? I wonder if they’re not quite perfect and sold off cheaply to companies like the 5pointshop?

I ordered the full size Gruum shampoo and conditioner bars last year when they were on offer and they were ok, just basic hair care and nothing special. I ordered the trio from the last thread too and used them myself because they were offcuts and certainly wouldn't make a good gift (especially if the recipient has judge tendencies). Use them yourself though, you'll get maybe a couple of showers/baths from them.

May I remind everyone to sign up to a cashback provider like Quidco or TCB? It can make a huge difference. After all my Christmas shopping last year, I had £40 gift card for Morrison's and 3 gift cards for Costa- it all adds up and Shein in particular are quite generous!

Aldi have some Barbie in their special buys sale including vehicle set and plush barbie (I didn't even know those were a thing!)

I really agree re topcashback. I recently started using it again after a few years and it is so much easier to use than it used to be. You no longer have to clear cookies etc to ensure the purchase tracks - just close the window and reopen through topcashback.

this means that when you click through from topcashback most of the time your items are still in the basket so it really is money for nothing now - you don’t need to start over and there’s no extra effort at all.

there are a few referral codes on the bargain / referrals board (including mine 🙂 - I will post it on the last page) which will get you a free £10 or so to start with. I think you have to spend £10 through topcashback to get £10 back so it’s a good freebie and tracks straight away.

I’ve probably made £100 just in a couple of months so I’m kicking myself for not having done this before.

there’s also regular offers like £2/3 cashback on a £5 purchase so I just buy a £5 Argos or costa voucher, get the cash back and keep the voucher for Christmas shopping. Simple!

@Motherofalegend My navy one was The Oodie and on further inspection I'm positive it's genuine, but I believe it's a return as there is a hole on the inside lining at the seam around 8cm long which is easily fixable. I also did some research on the labels and they are correct and it's very thick and the fleece much softer than the primark ones (I checked!). I'd say without the orginal packaging, price tag label missing and the fault it's about the right price. Anyway, I'm happy, it will do the job and in the unlikely event it's a fake, my kids wont know/care.
