Some of the items are on the more expensive side but there are great bargains in the Lulu Guinness sale, I have just bought a work bag for £105 reduced from £350. There are also excellent reductions on things like socks, toiletries bags, suitcases and wallets.

Unbelievably I found it cheaper than it would’ve been even than with a 20% code at my local garden Center 🤷‍♀️
Now I just need to think if it’d be used enough to justify the price🤔
While I picked up my trespass order today I went into mountain warehouse- they have great reductions in store.
The other tip I can give is John Lewis - the sale ends this weekend, although it’s often extended. Go into whatever category and search low to high price, they’re are some great reductions.

Waitrose fill your own wicker baskets reduced again to £2.50. Plenty left in the local store, and the shredded tissue for padding them.

Searching by low to high price is great if you don’t want to spend a lot. I also search by “discount high to low” for what feels like the best bargains, relatively.

I wish more stores offered this search option. I think TKMaxx does, too.

Wooden toys well reduced in my local Aldi. Kitchen reduced from £35 to £15, kettle tea set reduced from £13 to £9, same with popcorn maker, churro maker, tableware set.

Does anyone know what companies they might have been please? Google has been no help at all.

Lots of smaller independent retailers of organic and Scandi brands do this. It depends what you're looking for. I think Rainbow Lane and Funky Monkey do them but so do lots of others.

Was it Frugi by any chance?

Oooh, I think one was Smalfolk... it looks very much like the sort of colourful clothes I remember.

I found the original one I was thinking of! Little Footprint. Unfortunately, I don't see any mystery bags on their sites atm.

I don't really know these brands v well and they're quite pricey so I was hoping to do a lucky dip to get a few pieces at a bit of a discount and try them out to see what we like and don't like. Thanks for the Rainbow Lane link!

Seasalt have an extra 20% off their sale this weekend. There are still various boxes of nice socks, some half price before the discount, but it looks like things are going fast as some items are being sent from shops not the warehouse.

My local Wilkes had their remaining Christmas gifts and wrapping paper between 10p and 50p. I managed to get wrapping paper, bows, napkins, coffee syrups and a couple of card games for next years toy collection .
