Christmas 2022 bargain prequel: starting on boxing day

Hello and welcome back to another Christmas bargain prequel thread!

There are already sales at most online stores so please post your bargains below!

Stocking up on Christmas cards? Not online, but my local branch of Paperchase has boxes of Christmas cards at 50p each. I got two boxes of cards, one originally priced at £15 and the other at £12.

Went to Matalan to return something yesterday and got these for 99p each, reduced from £4.99. I don't think they're worth full price but for 99p will be nice to put with something else for DSs school friends at Christmas or birthdays.

Home bargains sell these for the same price too. DS loves them, and like you I've stocked up to add into school friends birthday presents.

My Matalan was rubbish! Lots of broken bits and pieces.
They did have loads of large Xmas Eve boxes reduced down to £1.50 though.

These boots look good for the price. I’m tempted to get some for my DD who will be 11 next Xmas I’m just not sure what size to go for

Tu sainsburys have a half price sale on (also available at Argos for click and collect with no minimum spend on cc). Lots of winter pjs in the sale, I picked up a penguin fleece set with matching slipper socks for £5, lots of other sets too, they always wash well

Has anyone else who ordered from Emma Hardie had an email to say they are substituting the items they ordered as they oversold some bits?

They said they will be worth the same as the price I paid but 2 of the sets I'd ordered had been £60 down to £20 in the sale!

I've emailed them to cancel the order.

That's disappointing. I've had an email saying there was a delay with a dispatch but nothing about substitutions. I only ordered one gift set, hope I get it as was an absolute bargain

M&S sale got cheaper today. It’s at the “can’t return” yellow sticker stage where prices are so many pounds and 99p (or 49p) instead of round pounds. They had lots in my local store today, especially lingerie, with nighties at £1.99, bras from £1.99 and plenty of pants at 99p each, with packs of 5 for £1.49. Some things are more expensive but everything apart from the non-M&S things were half price or less.

My Best Buy was a cashmere cardigan reduced from £100 to £19.99. I resisted buying a very cosy warm down coat in my size, reduced from £120 to £19.99, merely because it made me look like a khaki-coloured Michelin man.

M&S Women’s Sale online. Free click and collect with no minimum spend, and you can return things if you do so quickly.

The website is very misleading, though, as a lot of things are sold out in the sale colours.

I want to buy an ooni pizza oven and can’t do it without a 20% 🤯🙄 - too used with the discount codes (and don’t think welcome10 at the till will help!!)

That M&S website is a bit of a nightmare isn't it? Not only is it misleading with which colours are actually in the sale but every single thing which I clicked on in the home section is out of stock!

I looked, filled my basket and couldn't check out with any payment method so have had to abandon it. I did find two of the things were the same price on Amazon though, so have ordered from there instead 🤷‍♀️

I've just had confirmation that my Emma Hardie order has shipped so there's still hope if anyone is still waiting.
