Toying with ideas... Have thought of beans on toast, but that doesn't sound so special Grin

Ideally something not incredibly complex Xmas Smile

RainbowBabyForChristmasPlease · 19/12/2021 19:32

Bacon butty and Buck's Fizz

AnotherMansCause · 19/12/2021 19:33

Homemade waffles. Coffee or hot chocolate. Fruit.

ISaidDontLickTheBin · 19/12/2021 19:34

Panettone and coffee

My grandad used to always have pork pie!

HeddaGarbled · 19/12/2021 19:35

Coffee & orange juice. Other members of the family may help themselves to cereal or toast if they choose on the understanding that they are not to get in my way nor make any mess in the kitchen.

Dogmum40 · 19/12/2021 19:36

Booze!

babouchette · 19/12/2021 19:40

Smoked salmon, crème fraîche and caviar on blinis, and a glass of champagne, with fruit and bake-at-home croissants on the side.

Poppins17 · 19/12/2021 19:40

Croissant and jam followed by terrys chocolate orange!

FredaFox · 19/12/2021 19:41

Jusrol croissants freshly made, fancy jam and butter
Buck's Fizz

Incywinceyspider · 19/12/2021 19:42

PIL are coming round early to have breakfast with us. Apparently they always have bacon sandwiches. Personally I prefer pastries but will go with their tradition this year. I imagine it will evolve as the children get older.

Soggybiscuits17 · 19/12/2021 19:45

Smoked salmon blinis, dill & fresh cream with bucks fizz. Kids will probably have pain au chocolat!

ParkheadParadise · 19/12/2021 19:46

A Full Scottish Breakfast cooked by DH.

Pegasussnail · 19/12/2021 19:51

I've bought croissants that you buy in a tin (fresh) and will have juice

Dh will have muesli as always and brown bread but we will all have a croissant

Bobbobbobbing · 19/12/2021 19:53

Champagne, danish butter cookies and chocolate.

The kids have a sugary cereal that is normally banned the rest of the year. And cookies and chocolate.

haveyouopenedyourbowelstoday · 19/12/2021 20:04

I'm working Christmas morning (NHS) so the canteen staff make us bacon rolls.

PermanentTemporary · 19/12/2021 20:06

Croissants, juice and coffee.

BlueShirtGirl · 19/12/2021 20:06

Croissants and Buck’s Fizz but i want a badger now…

stinkycheeseman · 19/12/2021 20:08

Prosecco and croissant for me. Dinosaur porridge for the kids 🦕🦕🦕

SnickettyLemon · 19/12/2021 20:16

As a family we have Garlic Pork. It is a traditional breakfast on Christmas morning in some parts of the Caribbean, although it originated in Portugal . It is a lot nicer than it sounds.Grin

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 19/12/2021 20:20

Babycham and Matchmakers

DiamondBright · 19/12/2021 20:32

This year I'm doing panettone french toast sandwiches with Nutella in the middle, because I've bought too many panettone and it's quick and easy.

I was thinking of doing an American style french toast "casserole" so I can make it Christmas Eve ready to bake but I've decided against it, I think.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/12/2021 20:33

I'll put the breadmaker on overnight so there will be a choice of:

toast
eggs (done however - but not for me )
pancakes and syrup

orange juice , coffee , hot chocolate done in the snazzy milk frother

I've got cinnamon rolls for Christmas Eve

Boxing Day is a Full Works Cooked Vegetarian (Richmond bacon and Sausage Meat Free , Hash browns , Beans , Eggs , toast , coffee , juice )
I have regular sausages for DS (the non vegetarian)

FancySomeChips · 19/12/2021 20:38

Croissants from the oven and crumpets.
The “nice” orange juice as dc call it.

shouldistop · 19/12/2021 20:44

This year 5yo ds has requested pain au chocolates, fruit salad and hot chocolate so that's what we'll be having Smile

Seafog · 19/12/2021 20:45

Pulla, coffee, and oranges or a grapefruit
