@beadyboo I bought these this year. The fire pit was from a recommendation on one of these bargain threads, bought it for DH birthday and it works a treat.

Things I keep stocked in the van are games/puzzles/books for rainy afternoons or dark evenings, Fairy lights, Warm blankets, good binoculars (stargazing or bird watching).

Thanks for the new thread. I’m done, all wrapped and I’ve even written out and sent some Christmas cards. Only the fresh food shop to do.

Anyone got their Flying Tiger tracking number to even work? FedEx tracking never works for me. Not feeling hopeful as I ordered on 3/12 but it was a perfect gift for the overseas student DH's parents are hosting for Xmas hols. I had a weird email from them yesterday saying it had been released from customs in Germany 🤔 and would be with me in 4-5 working days...cutting it a bit close!

@beadyboo Have they had a campervan before? If not, I'd recommend the books by a couple who have a blog called OurTour, available on Amazon. There's one that is a Touring Handbook which is great if you're new to the whole thing, and others focussing on their blog, Morocco, France etc. They're really readable and informative.

What you seem to completely fail to appreciate is that the issue is not about you. You are free to do what you want. The problem is that you see your baby as an asset of yours, or extension. You can't seem to see that this baby will be an entity of its own, one who you can bet will one day, even as a child, judge your choices and how it affects them.

Stop thinking about your needs and consider those of the life you'd be creating.
