Just wanted to say a huge HAPPY CHRISTMAS to everyone on here. Thank you for posting all your links and sharing codes etc; it’s made Christmas so much easier for so many people and I know I’ll be thinking of you all on Christmas Day.

I got lovely Yoshi leather wallets in the sale (before remembering that my vegan nephew may not appreciate leather) but a great bargain none the less, Jaques of London wooden toys at bargain prices for all the little ones and sheepers faulty slippers for myself.

Ds3 (15) decided yesterday that he would actually like a guitar for Christmas so a hasty call to the local music shop and I pick it up today. Thanks to these threads I remembered to ask if I could have a discount if I bought a gig bag too and got 25% off the bag (better than nothing)!

Omg ds has just managed to smash all our dinner plates putting them away. So that’s me looking for a new set after Christmas, luckily we have a best set and no guests so can manage, but it’s the last thing I needed today. Dh had a positive lateral yesterday so we are awaiting pcr results.

Last minute Christmas bargain of a Waitrose turkey reduced from around £70 to £15. We have beef tomorrow and I had bought fairly cheap gammon for boxing day, but we can have organic free range turkey now instead
