Just wanted to say a huge HAPPY CHRISTMAS to everyone on here. Thank you for posting all your links and sharing codes etc; it’s made Christmas so much easier for so many people and I know I’ll be thinking of you all on Christmas Day.

How odd! I don’t have a credit account, but do have unlimited delivery. Maybe they just don’t like me. I suppose it saves me even more money if I don’t buy at all

@imnottoofussed, 2pm is the earliest slot. I didn't see the email for a bit, so got 3pm. I was collecting the kids from school at 2pm, mind you, so couldn't have been shopping at that point anyway!

This is the first in 4 years that I've not been given a vip slot. It's frustrating anyway as stuff says it's available then once it's in your basket it isn't x

Sports Direct are selling £50 gift cards for £40. You can buy two per customer online and they can be spent online or in store with 2 years before expiring. I'm using one to get new school shoes after Christmas and one to put away for next year's Christmas shopping!

I’ve ordered loads from Next sale, but I know the majority will go back. Ordered several pairs of trainers for dcs and I but I know we’ll only keep 1 pair each. DS is particular about shoes/trainers and they have to feel right hence ordering him 4 or 5 pairs.
Years ago you only got a vip slot if you paid for the actual catalog (remember that).

I have similar with DS and trousers, so I ordered loads, but a good half / two thirds will go back!

Wow! Thanks so much again to the poster who recommended Vera Tucci sale. Went on and ordered loads of bargains 2 days ago thinking it wouldn't get here until January. Postie just arrived with them! Now have some lovely quality scarves, candles, wallets and purses to add to gits as extras for tomorrow.

Also very happy with PrinterPix, Moonpig and Funky Pigeon who have also all arrived today despite me being so last minute with the photo gifts. Got a bargain half price photo calendar from printer Pix, and they were the only retailers I could see who were still offering Xmas delivery dates for them. A3 calendar cost me £9 but next day delivery was £11! Eeeek. But at least it got here.

Also thanks for the heads up about the M&S sale. Got myself some nice work trousers and a lovely onesie for the teenager's birthday in a few weeks.

I have loved this thread! Although I think it's turned me into a shopaholic/bargain hunter.

And just in case it's useful for anyone, I've also saved a small fortune this Xmas by installing a 'voucher codes' add on to my browser. Now when i go onto different shopping sites, it pops up to let me know if there are any discount codes/vouchers. Has saved me searching the web for voucher codes and so far all of the ones have worked that have been recommended from this add on.

There is a criteria for the next sale I believe its credit account and you need to keep a certain % of what you actually order. First slot is usually 2pm but I have also heard staff get first pick before then which explains why most of the good stuff from the preview is already gone. I used to get loads in the sale but nothing is ever available now.
