Title because the last one’s nearly used up and I haven’t got time to do my usual picking of a title, sorry.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here to use for if you’re posting your personal referral link to others.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Bit of a random one, can anyone recommend a nice pen that writes well? A relative has asked for a pen that doesn't go "blobby"? I can't really understand what it is he is looking for so I'm hoping someone on here can help!Xmas Smile

Definitely a Papier pen! You can get a nice pen with a pack of refills for £4 if you use a £15 off referral on the other thread

So annoying that I've already written this but for some reason it didn't post! I was recommending a Papier pen and refills using a £15 off referral ode from the other thread

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl

My 8 year old rides his light up three wheeled scooter everyday to and from school. It's a micro maxi one,

https://www.micro-scooters.co.uk/maxi-micro-led-deluxe-scooter-navy.html?gclid=CjwKCAiA-9uNBhBTEiwAN3IlNEDLMwMvcmuDoVy6vv2gs2Owp1UHYP99Pzdu9iTyqszVSx70RBz4BoC4zQQAvDD_BwE

I got it last year and was worried he would out grow quickly but he insisted he didn't want a two wheeled yet. This is suitable up to 12, and has taken my over 20 stone weight on it many times Blush

It was second hand when we got it, but you couldn't tell, and with daily use still lighting up and just in need of new handlebar grips (he's getting in his stocking) to look like new again.

DearMrDilkington · 13/12/2021 22:14

@oatmilkisntsobad thank you Xmas Grin

I think I may have only one more present to get! My DD (9) has asked for a ‘book about everything’ (is more into fact non fiction books than story books) so I am thinking an encyclopaedia type books. Can anyone recommend one please?

Bonus points if there’s a good deal!

This book was suggested on here

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 13/12/2021 22:35

Thank you @PeskyYeti, I'll keep an eye out for one of those too! Annoyingly there are a few of the Micro scooters and the smaller Globber scooters for sale near me but none of the ones for 6+ years, so it looks like I might have to bite the bullet and pay full price. I don't think Smyths will need to have a sale any time before Christmas Xmas Sad

20% off here at the Camping World Christmas shop - trees, lights, festive projectors etc

@theclockticksslowly You could look at the usborne general knowledge lift the flap book but that might be a bit young. Depends on your DD I guess.

Looking for some slip on/no lace comfortable trainers for a lady with mobility issues so can’t bend to put them on. She wears slip on sketcher type shoes but would love a nice pair of trainers. I’ve seen lovely faux lace up ones but the reviews said the back was soft and you needed to bend down to help put them on which won’t fit. Any help greatly appreciated x

BarryBob77 · 13/12/2021 22:58

Has anyone bought a disco ball light projector (not sure what to call it!) from Amazon that they would recommend? I am hosting a Christmas party and for obvious reasons lots of people have pulled out. I thought some disco lights might entertain the couple of children coming and make it feel more like a party even though there will only be a few people.

What about trainers with the non tie elastic laces would that work?
Smileatthesmallthings · 13/12/2021 23:06

@BarryBob77 we have this disco light It's cheap but does the job and we use it regularly.

Rockhopper81 · 13/12/2021 23:11

So, after having impulse purchased the bargain stocking from Lady Vintage earlier, I now realise I have to actually put stuff in them for Christmas Day (I think I had that thought at the time, but conveniently shut it right down). Plus one for me - of course - as I don't want to be left out!

It will be me and my parents - they're young at heart, early and mid 60s. I've already bought their 'main' presents, but thought this would be good as they've never had an actual stocking.

Any ideas for things to put in that are as cheap as possible? I've got Christmas socks and a satsuma on the list so far (they get a chocolate orange with a crocheted cover on every year from me anyway), so I'm open to any suggestions people may have, pretty please!!

Purpleheadgirl · 13/12/2021 23:13

@Delahot you can buy stretchy non-tie laces to replace any normal ones. Or if it wouldn't upset her, add in a long handled shoe horn....think they still do funny ones that are a but like crocodiles for £1 in ikea.....or can get plain ones, usually around 18" long to save any bending with any shoe

TheCrow · 13/12/2021 23:14

Not a bargain but if anyone has any Pokémon fans to buy for the Pokémon Centre now has a UK site, they're still adding items but they have some nice things so far

1stTimeMama · 13/12/2021 23:43

Are there any Fatface discounts around that beat the 15% new customer offer please?

CoffeethenCrochet · 13/12/2021 23:48

@delahot another recommendation for the long ikea shoe horn. I have mobility issues so have one at the front door and one at the back door to help put on wellies etc.

Yuledo · 13/12/2021 23:50

Thanks to whoever said about the two raspberry Smirnoff vodkas for £20 at Asda. That is ds’s favourite drink.

FilthyforFirth · 14/12/2021 00:03

Hello, I dont suppose anyone has an Argos code they could share pretty please?! I was hoping to find a deal on winnie the pooh lego but I'm just going to bite the bullet and pay full price!

Famousthehero · 14/12/2021 00:04

@Rockhopper81 cheap(ish) adult stocking filler suggestions:

Packets of seeds
Hand cream/lip balm
Egg slicer/apple chopper/melon baller/butter curler/pineapple slicer/ other kitchen gadget
Notebook/pen
Elastic shoelaces
Glasses wipes
Car air freshener/ice scraper
Photo magnets
Scented tea lights/votives/wax melts
Chocolate coins/sugared almonds
Silly sheet face mask
Actual face mask Hmm
Wallet ninja
Sprout ketchup
String bag/foldable shopping bag
Matchbox game/mini quiz box

Or their favourite sweets/coffee/nail varnish colour/biscuits (giant custard cream?)

If it were me I’d have an absolute joy ride round the aisles of home bargains for it Xmas Smile
