@beadyboo - I had a 12 month subscription that ended not long ago and I bitterly regretted every month. Two boxes were good for me but not DC, there was a linen tote bag that you could decorate with watercolour paints and a build your own herb garden. It is certainly not worth almost £40 for 3 months. Sorry

Home Bargains had these lovely Christmas throws for £4.99, they're really soft and warm. They had some plain colours with gold snowflake print on which were also gorgeous and only £4.99 but they were too tasteful for my liking 😂

@Someaddedsugar it was Darlington, I pop in fairly regularly and this was the first time they've had them so they might just be appearing in stores now

@beadyboo we weren't that impressed with Toucan boxes. Staryed OK but oly so many teeny tiny glues you want, they don't work. The projects were fairly well thought out but not things my DD wanted to make, or we wanted afterwards. Expensive for what they were, could have bulk bought for that price. Maybe just send a hobbycraft kit yourself monthly for 3 months, of wrap 3 and write a month to open on them?

@beadyboo I wouldn't pay full price for toucan boxes (intentionally...I did forget to cancel before I was charged for the next box a couple of months ago 😭). They're certainly more than a few scraps of paper and stickers though, and the crafts usually have a good amount of play value as well. You can choose the two crafts you receive these days as well. I think it would be a lovely gift tbh, my daughter gets so excited when she receives one.

@beadyboo - we found toucan boxes a bit hit and miss. During lockdown we discovered Papertown crafts - not a subscription but really well thought out craft kits- you can buy a box of 6 themed craft kits, or order separately - free postage over £5 so you could send a couple a month.

I'm still looking for any Argos codes floating around. Trying to take the sting out of Xbox games!
