Darn, forgot to ask on my message, I still need to finish shopping for DH. He's getting some new lego and Billy Connolly's book, but I'm clueless as to what else to get him. We love theatre and music, but with covid it's hard to do tickets just now. Any ideas for a bloody hard to buy for man?

@GreyerbytheDay how about a tin of M+S shortbread? Or the gold tins of Quality Street that are in most supermarkets and on amazon. Or a bottle of wine/ Prosecco . Was mentioned on here amazon have some on offer and Sainsbury’s has 25% off 6 bottles. Generic things but as a token gesture they are quite nice and will get used!

I need to go to collect a parcel from M&S tomorrow so they need to up their game from 20% off Stilton if they are going to sway me!

I need gift ideas for the people I manage!

I was so smug - I bought seven Go Stationery personalise me notebooks sets from Sainsbury’s when they were doing a deal earlier in the year. I was all set to personalise them with a lovely message for each member of my team. Tried to redeem the gift cards - nada. Not one of them worked. I’ve contacted Go Stationery - no response by email and the telephone is saying person not available. Checked out Facebook - it seems I’m not the only one with this issue and people have been waiting weeks for a response.

I now urgently need to rethink gifts for my team. Six women, one man - range of different ages and tastes. What can I buy them for around £5 each that looks more expensive? I bought them the Rex London coffee cups last year. I feel like now I’ve missed all the good deals.

Pleas hit me with some ideas - I thought I’d done so well but now I could cry 😭

Would the sheepskin liners from Celtic and co work? You might need to rope other people in so they could use the FESTIVE21 code and get 2 pairs of liners for £9 including delivery but that might be an option

For anyone with young children who love painting this flourescent paint is really good. It is a bit different to the colours you usually get and comes out really bright on the paper.
