Thanks @Carrie76 for the title. Just for everyone’s info - the chat was about tablet size 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Finally caught up on the thread! travel jask is £3.50 on Amazon RRP £9.99 apparently - I haven't played it before but it was recommended upthread and looks like a good one for us over Xmas.
Thanks for all the deals - the pile is threatening to burst out of its hiding place (just don't tell dh who is trying to have a "pared back Xmas" this year. 😁)

CovidCantKillChristmas · 01/12/2021 21:00

Surely the next thread needs to be the one with the pervy pig and the stocking fillets Blush

Daisy829 · 01/12/2021 21:00

Bowtastic clips has 10 for £10 on Xmas hair items. I got some bits last time they had this offer on and they are great quality

I mentioned jask !
We love it .
I have elderly DM and disabled DB ( in wheelchair)
Such an easy game for them to play .
DC 's move the counters .
We change the rules anyhow .
Sometimes play with less counters
But about to look at the travel version now !

guineapigs · 01/12/2021 21:09

From HUKD: £5 off £50 Argos voucher code URTXJK5L

Re '" jask"
Get ready for letter rage !

Sorry to have to ask but I have lost the link. Where can I get nice, cosy wool socks for my mum? She has multiple health conditions and always feels the cold. Thanks

Motherofplants · 01/12/2021 21:21

@StopGoQuitStart You want the monster jam megalodon storm for all terrain and speed :) Not price checked lately but it's on amazon and a few other places. We went for the larger but slower (and not all terrain) el toro loco that was half price in asda recently for our very little one, but have decided to hold it back another year as he's not there yet Grin

Froppysue · 01/12/2021 21:22

For those who haven’t managed to get squishmallows in Aldi, I saw some in Tesco today. More expensive, but they had a cat, elephant and penguin.
Still wishing I could find a cinnamon bun though!

I just got a massive bargain at Skagen so thanks for that. 40% off outlet prices plus an extra 15% for signing up for emails. I got earrings and a necklace, very classy for £34.00. I love the chat. Usually just lurk but these threads have given me loads of ideas, and, crucially, prompted me to buy gifts for the food bank. I would never read a list of links.

GreyerbytheDay · 01/12/2021 21:25

I need gift ideas for the people I manage!

I was so smug - I bought seven Go Stationery personalise me notebooks sets from Sainsbury’s when they were doing a deal earlier in the year. I was all set to personalise them with a lovely message for each member of my team. Tried to redeem the gift cards - nada. Not one of them worked. I’ve contacted Go Stationery - no response by email and the telephone is saying person not available. Checked out Facebook - it seems I’m not the only one with this issue and people have been waiting weeks for a response.

I now urgently need to rethink gifts for my team. Six women, one man - range of different ages and tastes. What can I buy them for around £5 each that looks more expensive? I bought them the Rex London coffee cups last year. I feel like now I’ve missed all the good deals.

Pleas hit me with some ideas - I thought I’d done so well but now I could cry 😭

Lovemusic33 · 01/12/2021 21:25

I’ve just bought 2 puzzles and contemplating buying the travel Jask thank to this thread 🤣. Didn’t know I needed them but they were too cheap not to buy.

SweetPeaPods · 01/12/2021 21:26

I'm late to the fake oodie party and nieces have decided they would like one.
Around an age 14/ size 8 ish.
Guessing the next kids ones will be too small? And I don't have time to go to primark. Any online recommendations, I don't have the budget for proper ones.

SweetPeaPods · 01/12/2021 21:28

@sittingonacornflake

Oh please for the love of God can someone help me.

Thought I was done.

DS has just asked for the paw patrol lookout tower.

It'd MASSIVE and £80.

Is there anywhere that sells it cheaper?!

Loads of local Facebook selling groups and market place.
sittingonacornflake · 01/12/2021 21:35

@SweetPeaPods thank you and believe me Im trawling them but nothing really in my little corner of Cornwall.

Methenyouplus4 · 01/12/2021 21:38

@CapBarnacles (and anyone heading to Primarc who wouldn't mind purchasing)- yes, still desperately seeking men's XL grey pjs with Christmas trees on (will obviously pay postage).

Believe it or not, we are still without electricity so it's scuppering my bargain hunting ability.

Defo has to be men's as staff said they would be longer, and husband is proper lanky.

My 14 loves her Dunelm Hoodie it's single layer which suits her far better than the double layer/thick ones. I had to keep checking for it to be in stock locally.
BeaLola · 01/12/2021 21:44

Has any Primark anywhere had the Winnie The Pooh Adult sized snuddie ? I think they must be an urban myth.

72WayTooCool · 01/12/2021 21:49

@SweetPeaPods whereabouts in Cornwall are you? I'm in North Cornwall and this has come up in St Austell. I've no idea of that's what you are looking for though! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/826697171573527/

GeronimosDisco · 01/12/2021 21:50

@sittingonacornflake I'm a bit out of touch with children's toys now but I had a look on my local marketplace and there are a few. I'm also in Cornwall, send me a pm if I can help😊

BeaLola · 01/12/2021 21:51

@TheCrow

Are the m&s Belgian biscuits on the advent calendar the ones that come in a bronze coloured tin? They're an absolute must for us at christmas, we usually get them at half price but as far as I know they haven't been reduced at all for the past few years
Looking at the M&S offer it says 25% off 400g Belgian biscuit tins and it excludes 1kg tin - it shows an item code of 00983570
72WayTooCool · 01/12/2021 21:51

Sorry @SweetPeaPods that was meant to @sittingonacornflake
