One of mine is like that. And I am to some extent. People hate buying for us as they think it’s boring but we are happy.

Both of my teens have ASD too and don’t like surprises, dd has been dropping hints for a surprise of a new pet but she’s not getting one as I seem to look after them all (reptiles). My youngest likes to choose her own presents in smyths (Lego).

Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap Happy Napper. DD's 6&3 have been asking for one for months. And it was the first thing on their Christmas list.

All the reviews are rubbish, they break, the girls will probably never use them. But I'm happy to spend maybe £20 each if it will make them happy.

I was hoping for an amazing Black Friday deal but haven't noticed any.

Based on a recommendation on an earlier thread I have bought my dd3 and da5 frolics sleeping bags from Tk maxx. They are very impressive looking (albeit larger than I expected have them vac packed to keep them concealed safely until Xmas!)

@MadeForThis genuine Happy Nappers are only £26.50 at the moment for the medium size, although I think you'd probably need a large for your 6 year old. They are also saying that you get an extra 10% off with the code CYBER10 but I don't know if that will work on the Happy Nappers or not. FWIW my mom bought my DDs genuine Happy Nappers for Christmas and they are really lovely.

Thank you to the poster who posted about the Fossil deal. It works even if you are a signed up already - so in the Outlet section of Fossil they have an extra 40% off, and an extra 15% off that if you sign up (the link is in the top left if you're on a desktop). So a bag priced at over £100 originally came in at just under £40, with free delivery!

When I was looking for a camera for about £200, the guy in John Lewis said go for a brand that specializes in photography, at whatever price point, they will be better than from a brand that does loads of products. Mine is an Olympus, about 10 years old now.
