@Froppysue what about one of these mind journals
My oh came across them when he was in a crappy place and really rated it. They also send a weekly email with excellent articles etc. I love the work they are doing around normalising men talking about their mental health. If you do think this is something he would like, let me know and I will raid my emails as I'm sure I had a discount code at one point x

Are the wrist warmers suitable for typing in does anyone know? I'm freezing wfh but loathe to put the heating on when I'm home alone!

@LastStarFighter thank you, he’s really tech savvy and has every subscription imaginable! Love the idea of a pillow spray though as he is struggling to sleep and likes meditation etc.

@ShoppingBasket it’s unfortunately sad circumstances and me and my dds are all he’s got, he might not want photos of my ugly mug paint by numbers is a fab idea thank you, and I bought him a huge fluffy blanket when he first went in.

@Carriemac thank you, an adult colouring book is a good idea I’ll pop in on my list now. Sadly he doesn’t have a home now so will avoid ordinance survey.

@rainingcats thank you, can’t think of what photo id personalise anything with but a jigsaw is a good idea. I’m not sure he’d use a dressing gown but I’ll scope that out next time I’m in as he definitely hasn’t got one. He quite likes being up and dressed smartly.

@hiredandsqueak thank you, he’s got all subscriptions already but puzzle books and jigsaws are now on my list. Love the idea of a sketch pad and supplies as he used to love that and not seem him do it in a while.

It’s quite hard as obviously I can’t ignore the fact he’s in there but I’m trying to be conscious and not focus too much on it in the way of gifts, if that makes sense?

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo I was the same until I clicked to sign up for their Black Friday deals on the pop up bit and it opened up lots of deals including the wrist warmers for £7 (£6 for the mustard ones!).

Yes, I can type with mine. Mine are Turtle Dove, so made from the sleeves of old cashmere jumpers. Super luxurious and also recycled (well, repurposed) so are a lovely environmentally friendly option. I love them.

Thanks for all the advice regarding Harry Potter on the previous thread. I think we'll go for it with the rest, he's enjoying them so much I felt cruel stopping. It's lovely to have something we enjoy together for a bit at the end of each day too which I don't know if we'd get when he's older.
I'm really hoping that he goes back to them to read himself in a few years too!

@Froppysue if he is in to football a 3d jigsaw of his teams stadium, it was a big hit with my dh. They also do globes and landmarks so it's a little bit different to the usual jigsaw.
